June 15, 2004 - Ten years ago today, The Lion King opened in New York and Los Angeles. Disney's 32nd animated classic would go on to become the top-grossing animated film, top-selling videocassette, and winner of two Academy Awards.

June 14, 2004 - Our Coming to Theaters page has been updated with information on upcoming Disney films Ice Princess, Herbie: Fully Loaded, Cars, and The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. Around the World in 80 Days, the studio's latest film in conjunction with Walden Media, opens Wednesday.

June 12, 2004 - Our International DVDs Section has been updated with the latest DVD releases of Disney movies that are only available outside of the US.
June 11, 2004 - We've just learned that Disney's August DVD release of The Watcher in the Woods will contain the alternate endings and trailers that appeared on Anchor Bay's Special Edition of the film. 1981 horror film will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. Apparently, the 6.1 audio tracks, audio commentary by director John Hough and (unsurprisingly) 20-page collectible booklet from the out-of-print disc will be missing. This New for Disney's DVD are English and French subtitles and French and Spanish language tracks.

June 4, 2004 - We've just posted the press release for Home on the Range. This single-disc release presents the film in 1.66:1 anamorphic widescreen and Dolby Digital 5.1. Bonus features will include deleted scenes, art review, a making-of featurette, a Yodel Mania game, and a music video for "Anytime You Need a Friend." We've added a complete preview page with stills of the menu screens and deleted scenes.
