April 24, 2004 - As promised, we have an early and comprehensive review of next Tuesday's 2-disc Ghosts of the Abyss DVD. We've also created a new section of Documentaries & IMAX Films to place projects which just don't fit comfortably into the other categories we have.
We also have the first review of the Region 1 DVD debut Herbie Rides Again. This 1974 Love Bug sequel, coming May 4, receives quality treatment.
There are some new DVDs of Wonderful World of Disney movies coming in the UK and Germany that have been added to International Exclusives.
April 22, 2004 - Two new DVD reviews have been added today. Tuesday's release of The Haunted Mansion and the long-stalled Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book. Both discs offer quality presentation of the film and a nice selection of extras, but the movies might leave some disappointed.
We now have information about the rumored Mulan Special Edition. A 2-disc Special Edition re-release of Disney's 1998 animated film is coming in October, according to a 90-second preview on next Tuesday's Ghosts of the Abyss DVD. The preview highlights remastered picture and sound and new bonus features will include behind-the-scenes featurettes, games, a music video starring Jackie Chan, and newly found footage never before released.
