This is slightly off-topic, but does anyone ever see the standard box in stores for Season 6? I've seen pics of it online, but can't find one anywhere to purchase. It's the only season of the show that I haven't bought yet, because I despise the plastic head packages, and all the rest of mine are in...

Thanks for the news, Escapay! I taped that when it first aired on TNT, and watched it many times until the tape was destroyed in a flood a few years ago. Knowing that I'll soon be able to see it again, with pristine DVD picture, made my night.

Luke, Thanks for the awesome review of Sleeping Beauty PE, and especially for the comparison screenshots. I had no idea that the SE did not show the complete frame. The new picture looks really nice, as do many of the new extras. I knew that I would pick this up at some point, but figured I'd wait a...

Are you telling me that if McCain died January 21st she'd be qualified to be President? Seriously, the mayor of a town of 6,000 & then the governor of Alaska for 18 months is qualified to make all Presidential decision? Obama's campaign has lasted as long as she's been in office. She makes Quay...

Hey everyone. It's been a long time since I've been active at UD, due mostly to the lack of Disney DVD activities as well as some other issues I won't go into here. But I saw this thread and figured I'd add my view on some things. First, regarding anyone who says that they are not inclined to vote i...

I've been a fan of his for a long time, dating from his days on M*A*S*H . He was great on that show and has been a wonderful voice actor for Disney. As much as I loved his work work in Beauty and the Beast , though, I'd have to say I was most impressed with his voice work in Pocahontas , doing two v...

Blackcauldron85 made an interesting one based on the 1940's package films and few people paid attention. It died before we were halfway done with it. That could be why no one has bothered with another one.

When discussing religion, one should keep in mind that doctrines which may seem outrageous to those outside a particular faith are anything but to those who are a part of it. Communion in the Catholic Church is not the same as communion in most other sects of Christianity, with the exception of the ...

I am a Christian, Roman Catholic specifically. While some may consider it a stretch to believe in a creator, I find it just as much a stretch (more, really) to believe that our intellect and consciousness evolved from the Big Bang. Also, most religions teach peace and love as core values. Many probl...

PapiBear, I agree 100% with your post. This "war" on drugs causes nothing but problems and actually increases drug use. Furthermore, this supposed "war" is disproportionately fought against the poor and minorities. castleinthesky, thank you for posting the Ron Paul quote. As usua...

That was Bill Cosby's opinion of it as well. When he went on talk shows to "promote" the movie when it came out, he instead told audiences to avoid it. I thought that was pretty refreshing and certainly not something you'd see from most, if any, of Hollywood's current stars. Oh, and to ans...

Well, people have been saying for a while that HD-DVD/Blu-Ray would be the next LaserDisc. I guess this seals it.

Seriously, though, if this continues to be a problem, I won't go near Blu-Ray. I dealt with this crap on LD's and it gets old fast.

I picked up the 4-disc version a few days ago and watched it the other night. I really loved it. I found it to be a bit lighter in tone than the Lord of the Rings films. As great as they are, I have to bee in the mood to sit through one of them. I can see myself watching Narnia more frequently. I've...
