n69n our new member

Greetings, n69n! I too am eager to get The Little Mermaid Platinum Edition! My favorite movie is Cinderella, so I'm more eager to get that Platinum Edition DVD this October 4. But I LOVE The Little Mermaid and can't wait for it! I think the release date is supposed to be sometime in fall of 2006! We...

"A Dream Is A Wish" Music Video Restored Cinderell

The Disneymania songs aren't that bad... Anyway, I too saw the music video. The song itself is alright. I was hoping they would do more interesting things like put the Disney channel stars in some of the scenes from the movie, but whatever. But I was really mad when I saw... THE RESTORED CINDERELLA ...

Disney classics releases

Now that I understand more what you mean, I will say I don't think that five or six years is too long for a rerelease. 10 years would be close to too long a time! But five years is not too long in my opinion.

Disney Classics releases

Disney releases the classics for a limited time and puts them back into the vault for a long time so that when they release them, they will sell more. People might wait a long time to buy a movie if it will be available forever, or maybe not even buy the movie at all. But if they are only available ...

Favorite Princess/Heroine

Mulan is certainly the best Disney heroine, along with Pochahontas because they aren't after a prince and they actually save lives and do heroic things. But my favorite is Cinderella because I think she's very beautiful, she actually shows a sense of humor (in the movie Cinderella, she makes snide r...

Cinderella custom cover

Well, I just wanted people to know the clock in the background was the idea of whoever did that poster, and also to alert them to the poster in the first place. But you do REALLY nice work and you did do a good job with the title and the extending on the cover. I like the back a lot too. You know, I...

Roy and Disney end war

This is TERRIFIC NEWS!!!!! THIS IS SO GREAT TO HEAR! And to touch on what Kenai said, I'm sure Walt Disney stopped spinning in his grave for a second to shed a tear of joy, and he's very proud of Roy.

Stitch's glitch straight to DVD

Sometimes it's better for business to release it to video and DVD. Sometimes there are lots of fans out there for something but not enough fans to have what they're a fan of in theaters. The Disney videos and DVDs sell really well, I read. This video is more like a service to fans of Lilo and Stitch...

Cinderella menus

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes the CGI menus! Like Disneykid and awallaceunc I also love Cinderella, it's one of my favorites, and it was one of the first movies I saw as a kid (read my Disney story in that thread). I love this film, but as for it's menus... The slipper in the carriage does...

Cinderella cover

Those are all very nice custom covers, and I do espcially like first few Aladdin covers, the Bambi and Pocahontas covers, and, yes, the Cinderella cover. But everyone here seems to think the clock in the background was your idea. That cover is basically the poster for Cinderella coming to theaters i...

Lady and the Tramp Cover

Does anyone wish that another cover idea was used? After all, the Bella Notte scene is always used. I know it works, but there's also the romantic scene where they are on the hill and the moon's out, or the part where they are in the cement. If they used the cement scene, they could have Lady and Tr...

Toy Story 3

I heard that because Pixar was aking for deals that would not favor Disney at all, and would actually end up huring them, that making sequels to the Pixar films might be the best thing to do for business. Of course, it's really only the best thing to do if the sequels are good.

The Little Mermaid DVD Coverart

I really am glad that a guy who helped design Ariel will be doing the coverart, too. I wonder if he'll be working on The Little Mermaid III at all? I doubt it since he seems to be more into drawing product art instead of feature art. I really do LOVE that scene where Ariel's voice is taken away. The...

Bambi

For my Birthday (which was June 10), my mom got be Bambi! That made me very happy! Bambi is great. But I was sad that my slipcover only had the glue, too. Did anyone order a slipcover from Disney just to get the velcro? And did they get the velcro? And as for wasting your money, I really don't mind ...

Disney movies of 2005

Well, I'm glad Bambi did well, I wish it did a lot better, though... I certainly hope Cinderella does well, because Disney is going to do huge advertising for it and they would be devastated if all that was for nothing. That would make them almost hate Cinderella and they might shove it into a cold ...

Well, to be honest, at first I was in a hurry to get through a bunch of stories before I posted mine, so I skipped a lot of comments on stories and pretty much skimmed them. But now that you told me about that comment, I'll have to go back and read those and the other stories too! That's pretty funn...

Thanks Pasta67!

Thank you very much Pasta67! Your story was one of the few I've read. You had a pretty great story. It was so cool how you discovered your favorite Disney film in the attic and at first didn't even think you would like it! I'm glad you like Aladdin. It's also one of my favorites.

Disney Duster's Disney Story

Nice stories. I'll admit I haven't ready many, only like...five. I'll try to read all of them eventually, okay? What a cute story Fidget. I like romance and it's cool you both share the Disney passion. So now for my story... Hello everyone. I'm new to this forum, and I'm so glad I'm finally a member...
