Big changes for the original Disneyland Resort

A Disney friend of my sister's posted this news from MiceChat. Judging by the comments, this already isn't going over well, and the changes haven't even occurred yet!

At Disneyland Christmas may be extra

I WON IT FOR FREE!! :D This was so cool! On October 9th, I entered a contest at the San Diego 6 web site to win a copy of TGMD on Blu-ray. A few days later, I got an email saying I won! I had to go down to the station and pick it up in person, but that was fine. I only live twenty miles away. I got ...

Barrie Ingham on Facebook

It always seemed like a battle of who was better or more popular from The Great Mouse Detective : Basil of Baker Street or Professor Ratigan? Going by the status of the actor, Vincent Price wins several times over due to his background as a horror film legend. Barrie's background is plays, Shakespea...

That kind of reminds me. When guys like Corey Burton or Jim Cummings are gone, who's going to fill THEIR shoes?? :( For now they're filling the shoes from other great voice actors of the past. Corey can imitate Hans Conried and Paul Frees easily. Jim Cummings nailed the voice of Winnie the Pooh so ...

I agree, and now would definitely be a good time to start releasing them! Now is a good time to release the original Frankenweenie on DVD, but they're probably saving that as a bonus feature when the newest version is released.

Honestly, between TPATF and Tangled , I loved TPATF way more. Not because it was 2D animation, I just loved the writing, the characters, the music, and the songs. Tangled was just okay to me, I loved the lantern scene, but that was about it. I'm not a huge fan of princess movies to begin with, so it...

It's so sad whenever I heard such news. It means another legend in the voice-over world has turned silent. We also lose a good friend in the sense of him coming into our lives through the invention of television. Awhile back, a friend of mine asked me to get his autograph because she was a huge fan ...

At my Like page of Facebook, I made an exciting announcement of TGMD Blu-ray being released on the 9th. I was off that day, and I decided to shop around to see what I could find: I went to the Disney Store first. Nothing. No DVD, no commercial on their screen, no merchandise, zip. I went to Best Buy...

How do I get around not having to keep changing my password? Brina78 : You don't have to actually change your password. All you have to do is put the same password in all three of the boxes. Then your "new password" is the same as your old password and you don't have to keep coming up wit...

Okay, I'm about to start screaming over here. Is anyone having this problem where if you want to make any changes to your settings, it won't let you update unless you fill in all required fields? The * symbols are included with changing the password. This means I've had to change my password wheneve...

I'm so happy they showed Basil for The Great Mouse Detective clip, and a really good one of him, too! But, yes, I also agree at the confusion to showing minor characters in some of those clips. Though, when I looked at the length of the video, I figured it would be one extremely random scene per mov...

^ Thanks for correcting the wrong info, and thanks for responding! :) Oh, yeah! The repair was recently, like Sept. or Oct. when my mom and I were talking about Bing. I looked up his info, saw when he died and had that sinking feeling! The whole information about Bing came from the GMD Press Kit an...

Big *bump*! Here's an interesting review of TGMD: http://www.freewebs.com/greatmousedetective/img/nytimes_072786.jpg I didn't know that Glen Keane designed all the major characters except for Basil! I had no clue- I just knew he did Ratigan! So, he created Dawson and Olivia? What about Fidget and M...

In terms of changing anything of the questionable stuff, they've already altered movies with rumors in them. Like in TLM with the supposed boner on the priest or the change in the original poster when Triton's castle had one portion that looked like a male's genital. Anything that becomes too upsett...

Mostly what becomes my favorite is due to the voice actor who portrays them so brilliantly. For example I love Tony Jay and he voiced Frollo like no other could. Same with Vincent Price for Ratigan. I can't picture anyone else doing it, maybe Christopher Lee, but it wouldn't be the same. Hades is al...

In terms of everlasting visions in your head, constant nightmares long after the film ended, I would definitely have to say The Black Cauldron mainly for its continual graphic violence and frightening animation. There is also not enough cutesy moments to escape from it all. If the animators left in ...

Of the animated films, the special features I like to watch are with the voice actors and interviewing them. Also film footage of them performing their lines is fun to watch. The outtakes and deleted scenes are sometimes a must-have on DVD releases. The number of outtakes with Robin Williams for the...
