Who is your favorite Disney villain?

Post by Lady »

Mine is Lady Tremain (evil stepmother) from Cinderella. There is something about her cold evilness that has always appealed to me. I like my villains to be refined and subtle, like her!

Mine's probably Jafar. He seems to be the most sophisticated of the villains. Though all the villains are really really cool. :D

Mine is Maleficent. Her design is a masterpiece, her animation is brilliant (provided by the GREAT Marc Davis) and her performances is unforgettable.

Gaston in BatB is my favorite. He's a pig, a con, a kidnapper, and eventually almost a murderer. I also think he's HILARIOUS! I laugh everytime at the "Gaston" number. He's such a well rounded villain.

For Pete's sake? What the Pete is going on around here? Favorite Villain?

Pete of course.

A strength of a hero or villain is measured by the strength of their nemesis. An no other villain has Mickey as thier (prime) nemesis. Mickey and Pete are the perfect pair.

Pete - the oldest and greatest Disney character.

Hmm - its a bit of a tie between the Queen/Peddler in Snow White and Maleficent in Sleeping Beauty. Too hard for me to decide. I think they are both deliciously evil.

The Tripod symbol is cunning and evil and able to instill more fear than a simple red X ever will.

I think Maleficent and the evil Queen are cool, but Captain Hook is my favorite. I think that he is funny and it is some of the best voice work ever.

Ever since I saw Sleeping Beauty for the first time way back when, I've always thought that Maleficent was the best Disney villain around. I like her cause she is just plain evil, not only in personality, but also in appearance and demeanor. She doesn't screw around at all, and I respect that. :D

I love the way she's drawn and animated too, much like the rest of Sleeping Beauty, she looks great. I love how before she appears/disappears she changes into that weird shape with the green circle of light. Very creepy.

Favorite Disney villain?

The very existence of Dumbo is a fairly persuasive argument against agnosticism.
