The cover doesn't capture the look and feel of the movie, therefore i don't think it's a good one. Personally i also like some uniformity in my collection and most of my movies have the "Disney Classics" logo with the arch and the star on top of the front and the side. I already dislike th...

Chicken Little Listing and Review

Not to burn this site (i luv it) but Chicken Little is listed as the 45th anitmated Classic (under the specific section on this site)
That seems wrong to me on many levels but mostly because Disney doesn't seem to classify it as a classic?

Hello! As the topic says I'm looking for original Fantasia & Fantasia2000 DVD's - Region 2. In addition these copies should have both Dutch&English language And subtitles. Dutch cover/edition would be awesome as i'm dutch but not a necessity. I can buy these DVD's as bootlegs and copies from...

All great and probable analysis aside, Disney and especially the HE division, is 100% purely profit driven as opposed to customer driven . Not to say those 2 things somethimes don't coincide but i think all specific product offerings can be deduced to either costs or present and future sales strateg...

I look at Disney and Dreamworks to have two different types of animation film directions. Disney is the more fantasy & magical type; whilst Dreamworks is the more wild and "hip" type. I have to agree that Disney is the far superior studio for animation because most of what Dreamworks ...

The initial teaser was definately under-whelming... however that's been the case with the first teaser for pretty much every Pixar movie, as far as I can recall. I'm certainly willing to give this movie a chance, too; the new poster is pretty nice-looking. Seeing it makes me wonder, though... are t...

I'd choose Lady, she's one Hot-Dog :D

But seriously, all the disney teenage-girls and women are hot.

I like Jane from Tarzan a lot, especially when she starts to blush
but that's also thanks to her personality and great voicework from Minnie D.

Copy/Bootleg or Original - R2 DVD's from 2001-2002

Hello All, I would appreciate some help/opinions on this one. 1. Recently i have purchased 4 OOP DVD's through 2 private sellers on the internet. The first was Snowwhite. I bought and received the R2 (UK/FR/NL) copy. I bought it on ebay and the seller had gone through great lengths to say and show i...

Treasure Planet Appreciation thread

A lot of people do not think highly of several newer Disney's among which is Treasure Planet. I don't get why really, apart from the fact it is not about a headstrong independant young woman who -while singing her heart out every 20 mins.- meets her prince charming and escapes her environmental bond...

Brother Bear, And i don't understand why so many people seem not to think highly of it. I think it's a great movie and the art-work it it can hang with Disney's best. The main character is not that likeable at first but it's done on purpose and he evolves and learns his lesson. He's also in his pube...

Hello All, I think Chicken Little compared to Finding Nemo is like The Aristocats compared to the Lion King. In short plenty of room for improvement. As for Disney abandoning hand-drawn animation I think it's sad And a mistake as well. They don't have to flood the market with hand-drawn feature film...
