The Shaggy Dog (2006) I found this film to be a nice mix of Shaggy '59, D.A., and new stuff. Very enjoyable Disney family fun (even if the CG for the dog/snake and the tongue gag are not the best)
Also I was pleasantly surprised at how many big names and recognizable ones that aren’t which was very nice.
Oh and the theater I want to asked 3 questions before the film for a prize. Prizes included ether a dog bowl with paw prints, pictures, and the film logo on it or a T-shirt with the film logo on it. The bowl was taken after they let me answer question two (what is the tag line for the film? they made it even easier by making it multiple choice.) so I got the nice T-shirt instead.
Not a bad day.

I saw The Shaggy Dog (2006) and I thought it was great it wasn't like the best movie made but it was a worthy remake. It does have a strong story and and strong cast. It's even funny too.
Too bad it was #2 at the box office this week.
I would give The Shaggy Dog (2006) 8/10 some parts were too silly and Spencer Breslin once again does horrible acting.
Today I'm planning on seeing Eight Below

I'm not sure about horrible but his singing sure was. I was cringing when he sang just "I’ve got chills, there multiplying' and I’m loosen' con--" then when Allen as the dog goes "Keep goin'" I heard a grown from the audience until they saw that he really WAS done. But other than that it was very good and yes 8/10 does sound about right.MickeyMousePal wrote:

Brother Bear,
And i don't understand why so many people seem not to think highly of it.
I think it's a great movie and the art-work it it can hang with Disney's best.
The main character is not that likeable at first but it's done on purpose and he evolves and learns his lesson. He's also in his puberty so he's excused
The elks are funny and the story gripping. I think Brother Bear will be remembered as a real classic some years from now.

Disney deciding to do CGI only is like a Rembrand or Van Gogh throwing away their brushes and picking up a camera because the photograph was invented,...'nobody would want to see their paintings anymore'..............smart move....

The last Disney Movie I watched was Peter Pan It was really good, and I forgot how much I enjoyed watching the fight between Peter and Captain Hook
Anyway, I think the next movie I'm going to watch is The Emperor's New Groove I haven't seen that in awhile.

Oliver and Company
I saw this for the first times yesterday, and for some reason Oliver reminded me of Simba
, probably just an orange cat thing. I didn't care too much for this movie to be honest. It was watchable, but some one of the characters, Tito I think he was called, just got on my nerves. The baddie was pretty lame as well.
Still, it was BOGOF so I can't complain!

Chicken Little
It wasn't that bad. I enjoyed some of the slapstick humor. The story was OK. Hearing Don Knotts voice... well you know
