I would appreciate some help/opinions on this one.
1.
Recently i have purchased 4 OOP DVD's through 2 private sellers on the internet.
The first was Snowwhite. I bought and received the R2 (UK/FR/NL) copy.
I bought it on ebay and the seller had gone through great lengths to say and show it was indeed an original copy.
After i received my purchase however i supected to have bought a (very good) reproduction anyhow.
The DVD case cover came with a BVHE hologram, but the artwork looked to have been printed by a digital printer instead of the usual sound mass-print.
The case was a genuine Disney DVD blue case with engraving and pattent numbers etc.
The DVD art looked sound but the backside looked kinda goldish instead of silver and the inner-ring was of transparant plastic instead of covered with the same silver color-dye.
The ring around the plastic inner circle did however display all the encoding and text about the DVD.
The movie, menus, bonus features and languages all worked but there were NO promotional trailers on the DVD whatsover. Disney is highly commercial and i've never seen that before but maybe because it was the early 2000's or because it concerned their relic Snowwhite?
The next day i saw the same advertiser had a batch of 25!! copies for sale.
Here's the add, please look at the pictures provided and tell me what you think:

My other purchase concerned Peter Pan, Beauty and the Beast SE and The Lion King SE. It's seller came highly recommended and has a small professional internet shop for all kinds of movies.
The Lion King was sealed, in black case, and had all silver DVD's. The artwork looked sound, the hologram etc. it was all good.
Peter Pan was not sealed (i had been told about this) had fine artwork too, booklet, hologram, blue genuine Disney DVD case.
However the DVD back looked silver but still the innerring was transparant; you could see the back of the DVD print through it.
Than to top it off Beauty and the Beast SE was sealed!, Everything looked original; case, hologram, cover, disc, disc coding and color.
BUT still the inner ring of the DVD backside was transparant instead of dyed silver and you could see the frontside artwork through it (ALL my store purchases of Disney DVD's are 100% silver on the backside).
The dates on Peter Pan and BATB were 2002, Snowwhite was 2001 and the Lion King was 2003.

My questions to readers are:
-Is it known/possible that Original (Region2 only?) DVD's from before 2003 aren't dyed all silver on the backside (the inner ring is transparant).
Perhaps you could check your own versions of these specific movies.
-Check out the Snowwhite Pics and tell me what you think of. Bootleg/Copy or Original?
Thanks in advance for any answer.
