Strange, lasting 51 years is pretty hard to do under the happiest of circumstances but divorcing at that point is even more rare.

Yeah the Premium pass is really for those who are big fans of the park (my wife and I both are). The ironic thing is that I'm not really a theme park person, I wouldn't do this for anything other than a Disney park. For me it came down to the Saturday's. If it were a day here or there that's one thi...

Now there is an example of a unique prize.

You'd be on a pretty nice list to be able to point to the castle and say "Yeah we stayed there one night".

Years from now when people forget the promotion they'll probably thing you're joking.

Edge hasn't come back in, but the point I was getting at is he lives pretty far and there are tiered passes. If he's bought the one that allows him to go 365 days a year that is about $360 and since he lives way over in Las Vegas Nevada - how could it be worth it? I would think he would be better o...

Finally got season passes to Disneyland

After years of college, making a low amount of money (the wonders of starting out in PR) and waiting, the wife and I finally got season passes to Disneyland. Activated them this weekend and got to enjoy the little fringe benefits of discounts, etc. Just nice to know we can go whenever we please. Loo...

I've just e-mailed Bill Hunt at the Digital Bits website to ask him if he can publicise the plight of the Treasures on the site. They've not reported this as a news item yet, but they've obviously got an inside track with many DVD companies, and have been very vocal on other issues over the years. ...

Personally I don't mind the collector aspects or even what they're called, but at the very least I want Donald Duck cartoons completed and other older cartoons. Be honest with you, DD is the first thing that came to mind when I saw this. However I just can't see them not finishing off his run. Might...

So far I find the book to be interesting. Biographies are always tricky because the first thing you have to look for is the "Agenda". Both intentionally and unintentionally people tend to paint the picture they want to paint and like most things in life ignore points that are counterproduc...

This is going back a bit, but generally I don't think WDW gets the hurricanes too badly. If anything it's probably one of the safest places to be, but I was there in 1996 and there was a Hurricane coming in. I don't think the park was closed or anything. The park, was a whole, was designed for the w...

Seen a lot of Roger Rabbit stuff last time I went to Disneyland.

Lots of pins, statues, figurines, shirts, etc.

Overall there were no less than maybe 20 items for sale, and that's being generous.

A lot of them feature him and Jessica.

You're getting awfully defensive about a thread that was looking for people's opinions at the park. At the end of the day, any guest who has been their has a valid opinion because they PAID to get in they don't get paid to be there. Whether they spend 4 hours or 365 days there doesn't matter, they a...

I have a few of the sets, but I am terribly behind.

It's a money/time issue, though I do hope to get all of them.

There was always something about HB cartoons I enjoyed, at least the older stuff.

It doesn't, someone just asked a simple question and I think people are taking the theories on possibily homosexual like it's some kind of insult on the character.

The reality is that with certain episodes, he's probably about as close to a homosexual character as one will find in Disney. Not all effeminate males are gay. No one said they were. But the direction they are taking "that" particular character (mother comments about not finding the right...

I admit part of me would love to sign up if I had the money, but the odds of that ever happening are pretty slim.

Still my wife and went to Disneyland as part of our honey moon and when we hit a milestone like 5 or 10 years, it would be a nice gift to present to her.

From my own background in marketing and pr, I'd guess something won't be coming out on the 5th (Treasures).

If for no other reason as most marketing people would make the argument that it's too much product at once and will canabalize itself.

Basically in a nutshell, Disney screwed up. That's the long and short of it. They realized people weren't happy about the pilots missing and they did the next best thing they could, they put them on the second volume. I doubt it has anything to do with production order and any other reason than the ...

These are the bare basic observations one can take, and if a Guest only sees it like this (or as a "six flags" and "un-Disney like")- - well, that's too bad for them, it's their loss - - but they get it. Whether they like it or not, well that doesn't really matter much to me - -...
