Will probably get the Jetsons, and Jonny Quest next month.
And I am waiting till all the Flintstones seasons are done and hopefully go on sale somewhere.
Am passing on Magilla Gorilla as the DVD is messed up. They didn't (they say it was a mistake) include the opening song, or credits, etc... Most people on line are really ticked off. Some are even calling for a recall.
Hong Kong PhooeyI am not sure about. Don't even recall seeing that before.
I am hoping Quick Draw McGraw gets released too. Rumor has it on for next year. Hopefully Vol. 2 for Huckleberry will come out then too.

Looks like you pretty well got everything that's out.
You don't mind Magilla Gorilla without the opening song, etc...?
Maybe it helps though. Dastardly and Muttley can get very repetative listening to "stop that pigeon" every 10 mins. LOL!
Mr. Toad wrote:For some reason I have never been high on Hanna Barbara outside of Scooby Doo. Loved my Saturday morning cartoons but just cant get into them now.
By the way, Looney Tunes is not Hanna Barbara
I think it depends on your age. I was never a Scooby Doo fan. To old I guess. I grew up with the older ones like Huck and Yogi and Quick Draw.
I may eventually get a few of these sets... Flinstones, Jetsons, Tom & Jerry for sure... maybe Yogi Bear. I've never actually heard of most of the others, and certainly never seen any of them, so I'll read about them and decide whether or not to buy on an individual basis.
I've also put off getting the ones I do want because they don't seem to be limited edition at all, whereas a lot of the Disney material is. There's also the fact that I'm not as big a fan has Hanna Barbara as I am Disney and WB... so I'd rather save up money at the moment for the many purchases I"ll need to make in the future from those two companies. Primarily, the next Looney Tunes Golden Collection set, Darkwing Duck, Tailspin, the next Ducktales and Rescue Rangers sets, the next wave of Treasures (or half of it, anyway), and of course the future Animaniacs and Pinky & the Brain volumes, and hopefully Tiny Toons is somewhere in that future, too.
But eventually I will at least get those ones I listed above, as Hanna Barbara did have some good cartoons.
I think I had planned to start collecting them at one point, but never got around to a fair whack of them. I guess it is a money/time issue, as I'm still several volumes behind on Looney Tunes and DC Animated collections as well.
I did buy:
Wacky Races
Scooby Doo, Where Are You! - The Complete First and Second Seasons
and managed to get the first (and possibly third) seasons of The Flintstones as review discs.
However, a few of them are trickling through as local releases, much much cheaper than their US counterparts. May investigate.
There are only 2 Hanna Barbera cartoons which I loved, and am still awaiting a DVD release Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels and Help! it's the Hair Bear Bunch!
The only other sets I'm interested in are Yogi Bear, Quick Draw McGraw, and All-Star Laff-a-lympics (if they decide to release it). I liked The Flintstones and The Jetsons, but I would not watch them that often, and the price is higher than I would like. I'll Netflix them at some point.

Hong Kong Phooey: The Complete Series
Magilla Gorilla(Ordered)
after browsing the Region 2 versions (they are mostly double sided discs with less extras and are overpriced HMV exclusives), I have decided to import the Region 1's since I have none right now the ones I want are:
Yogi Bear Complete
Scooby Doo, Where are You? Seasons 1 & 2
Wacky Races Complete
Top Cat Complete
Hong Kong Phooey Complete
The Flintstones Seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6
and my favourite of all time:
Dastardly & Muttley in their Amazing Flying Machines Complete
where would be the best place to order from? (cheapest) and which ones have double sided discs? I've never heard of a double sided disc here in the UK but when I look up Region 1 releases there seems to be a few
I wish they would release
Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels Complete and Help!... It's the Hair Bear Bunch! Complete
I grew up in the 80s, when Hanna Barbera was probably the big household name for TV cartoons. Being a loyal Saturday morning viewer and a fan of USA Networks Cartoon Express, I am really a hardcore fan of all the Hanna Barbera stuff. So, I'd really love to get it all (and the WB stuff too), even Magilla Gorilla's apparently flawed set (who knows if he will ever come to DVD again, after all). However, money is still tight for me and I have to prioritize. Disney will always be my number one obsession, and I'm behind in their stuff as it is. Still need the second volumes of DuckTales, Rescue Rangers, and Gargoyles, all the True Life Adventure sets, most of the live-action stuff, and I've even fallen behind on the animated features, though MOSTLY the direct to video ones. The only theatrical ones I don't own on DVD are Cars, The Wild, Home on the Range, Heffalump Movie, and Valiant, unless I'm forgetting something. In fact, except for Cars, I haven't even seen those yet.
Anywho, currently, all I have right now from HB is a Scooby Doo DVD of the first few episodes (I forget the name of that one, maybe Original Mysteries...), a couple of Powerpuff Girls DVDs, Scooby Doo and the Alien Invaders, Scooby Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf, and, well, that's all I can think of off the top of my head. Have some other stuff on VHS. Besides that stuff and Disney, I have Batman the Animated Series volume 1, Batman Superman movie, Last Son of Krypton, Batman Beyond the movie, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker (the original, edited release), the Pink Panther cartoon collection, Aqua Teens vol. 1, Family Guy vol. 1, some Sabrina the animated series DVDs, several Sailor Moon DVDs (but for from all), and some other animated features, like Shrek, Chicken Run, Titan A.E., Road to El Dorado, Secret of NIMH, Mad Monster Party, Quest For Camelot, etc... There are a ton of DVDs out there I still need, not to mention lots of upgrades, and I haven't even touched upon the TV shows I want. Right now, I'm focusing on catching up with Smallville. Should be up to season 4 after Christmas, and only 5 are out. Besides that, I only have first volumes of anything (actually, perhaps just Wonder Woman and Lizzie McGuire, unless I'm forgetting something. I really need more TV show sets). My DVD collection is pretty random right now, mainly because I like to go for good prices and get a lot of random ones as gifts.
