I can't believe Disney FINALLY included an original trailor. I can't remember when the last time they did that was. ' I'm pretty sure that most of the platinum releases include the original trailers for the movie. I have ripped trailers from Aladdin, Bambi, Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, and Sno...

Yes, they ship as available, and it's all free (assuming you select free shipping at checkout).

They always have shipped backordered items to me at the same price. I don't think they have a right to adjust the price once your order is placed.

Most of the time, their free shipping can take a while, but I've never had any problems with them other than that. This is my experience as well. Me too. I've never had a problem with a DVD I've bought from them (I've made about 10 orders totaling about 25 movies and 8 TV box sets in the past 2 yea...

$5.99 BV DVD sale at deepdiscountdvd.com

I just got an email from Deep Discount DVD about another sale they are having on around 400 Buena Vista DVDs -- $5.99 each with free shipping. I noticed that all of the Cartoon Classics volumes were on the list as well as Mickey, Donald, and Goofy - The Three Musketeers. Great price for anyone that ...

Definitely Gummi Bears and TaleSpin... All the other shows (assuming the DuckTales volumes continue to come out) I could take or leave. DuckTales, TaleSpin and Gummi Bears were the three Disney shows I watched all the time when I was younger (along with Rescue Rangers, but not as much that one). I l...

Many of the earlier produced discs have labels that are not perfectly smooth. IIRC, that was one of the ways to tell a real one from a bootleg. As far as gold vs. silver discs, I'm pretty sure one of the Snow White discs I have is gold, and it's definitely legit.

Except that it just went up to $29.99 on Amazon a couple of days ago. :(

Sale on BV DVDs, including some animated classics

I hope this is the right forum for this. Deep Discount DVD is having a sale on a bunch of Buena Vista DVDs for $10.44 each. Going through the list, I saw the following animated classics: Atlantis: The Lost Empire (Single Disc) Fun and Fancy Free Make Mine Music Melody Time Saludos Amigos The Adventu...

Just joined today. I had to get myself some DuckTales Lost Lamp goodness. It was a little hard to pick five titles from the join list, since I already have most of the Disney DVDs I want, but after much discussion with my wife, I got: Spirited Away Piglet's Big Movie The Rescuers The Book of Pooh: S...

I've had about half-and-half luck buying from eBay. I bought Snow White, Tarzan (the original single disc), Dumbo, 101 Dalmatians, The Jungle Book, and Pinocchio (also Bambi and Alice in Wonderland, but those are still in print). Snow White was $20, authentic (used), Jungle Book was $24, authentic (...

"Spell-Chek" is a brand name of a spell-checker for computers. I have one and the omission of one letter does not constitute an attack, sir. Sorry, I thought the ;) gave away that my post was all in good fun. I was also referring more to your bad spelling of "dictionary" ...

I really think that you need help with your spelling and a "spell- chek " would be very helpful or even a dictinary at your right hand. I am sure you were just in a hurry and let these get by - if not, you need to take time to learn how to spell these 'easy' words correctly. Were y...

I, like many others, have been boycotting the original Christmas Carol and Treasure Island because of the Pan & Scan, so these two will be a welcome addition. I will now probably try to find a copy of the old Treasure Island for the extras, if it is cheap. It's too bad we didn't know about the ...

I watched Tarzan: SE a few nights ago. It was the second time I've seen it, and the first was only a few months ago, so I didn't think I'd be too into it so soon, but I really enjoyed it. I remember Tarzan came out in theaters right before I moved to France for two years so I never saw it, but I did...
