Good news to hear we're getting it by Christmas, hopefully if there's some elaborate Special Editions out there, I might hold out to find them under the tree. Now, as for the theatrical rerelease, why doesn't Disney do what a number of studios have done in recent months in having a one time screenin...

The transfer on the old one was good but not great, as the review stated the new edition features a brighter transfer and an adjusted aspect ratio (from 1.66:1 to 1.78:1). As for the photo gallery, it was nice, mostly had posters and promo shots (haven't really looked at it for a while). Anyhow, I g...

Sad to see the current features go, even if it's just a photo album. But I think I'll pick it up simply for the new transfer and cause Future Shop has it in for $10 (the flyer price of $14 - but the website always has the most up to date price for them). So, since I only paid under $15 for the curre...

So, in this weeks ad Future Shop was advertising a graphic novel that would come "ONLY with the Combo Pack," which made me think it would be packed on to the case. Now I have to admit it was slightly tempting, but when I went into the local store, I noticed none of the combos had the book ...

Those packags are so freaking ugly Are you talking about the Blu-ray ones, cause I think they look pretty cool. Plus they take up less shelf space, unless this is a 3 (or 4) disc set as it should be (two BDs and a DVD/ Digital Copy disc), which I suspect, then Disney will put it a fat case (which I...

An idea for Combo Packs that I would accept.

Now, I've made some comments in the past for my dislike for Combo packs. Why give us one (or two) BDs, then offset with two DVDs, one of which I'll use once, and the other collects dust in the case. But, now I've found an answer that I'm willing to accept and is also a "green" solution (bo...

So, looks like us Disney fans here in Vancouver are without a Disney Store. Earlier today I went to the mall where the only one in the area is/ was (MetroTown mall) and when I got to the spot where it's suppose to be, I found a simple purple wall (part of the malls colour scheme). I know Disney's be...

Just wondering, and I totally forgot about it (so how good can it really be) but they are doing a new live action version of The Sorcerer's Appentice. Even though the film has no real similarities to the original short (at least not in the trailer I've seen), but could Disney be holding out to tie t...

Cover art is okay at best, problem is the ugly yellow border, maybe if it were a nice dark blue, it would be nice, but I guess Disney wants it so people don't automatically think it's just a Blu-ray when they see it on the store shelf. I'm personally picking up the Blu-ray only version, finally Disn...

First, it looks like all they've done is repackaged the old Masterpiece Edition in a (slightly) new cover. Also, they should have it come day and date with the Blu-ray/ DVD of the new Tim Burton version (July/ August timeframe?), then they could have had more time to prep a Blu-ray release and also ...

Feel I need to say something about the whole Blu-ray thing Disney's been messing up lately. As someone who prefers Blu-ray, I still feel I need to say somethings: - DVD and Blu-ray should be seen as equal options, no preference for one or the other. The studios should give DVD the same quality trans...

I'm actually speechless, can't describe how upset I am. As someone who grew up with the VHS' of the Disney classics, I still remember the intro he had on the Snow White video. Again, I'm too upset to give a proper response, sorry.

Make that thirds for that artwork. Although I wouldn't mind this one either: http://www.impawards.com/1995/posters/toy_story_ver2.jpg But there are other problems that I hope they resolve before I buy: - These appear to be single disc Blu-ray, when they should be two discs each - None of the previou...

Not gonna hold my breathe on this. Sure thedigitalbits is one of the best sites for this kind of info, but Disney is way too unpredictable when it comes to these sorts of things. I'm thinking it'll end up being mid- November as a trilogy giftset. But hopefully we might get one of the remaining Pixar...

Really want a widescreen version of Muppets from Space. Hate those pillarbox bars so much! Hopefully Sony will start revising their fullscreen transfers since starting with "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" they're changing the ratio from the older 4:3/ 1.33:1 to the 16:9/ 1.78:1 ratio f...

Bought mine just a few months ago (I wanna say sometime in May or June), and I got an insert. Currently the only releases of Snow White out there are the two different cased ones, which both have the same content, two BDs, one DVD, the difference being that Disney wanted families who have DVD only right now to get a copy of the BD but not have to have an odd matching BD case. So, same thing,...

very cool! I can't quite tell from the pic, but is that in the normal Blu-ray case or the thick case? (hoping for the regular case, I can't stand the thick one). The guy from blu-ray.com says it's in a thicker case, which is a hair smaller then the Disney 3-disc case. What it sounds like is the sam...

Wow! A 4 disc comes in a case that's almost half as thick as a 3 disc title. Also can't help but notice this is the first Pixar film to carry a PG up here in Canada, even The Incredibles is G here.
