Bambi Special Edition vs. Platinum
I thought Bambi was supposed to be a Platinum Edition? It is being advertised as a Special Edition. Why would that happen? Does this mean it will have fewer features than it would if it had been issued as a Platinum?

I have never used anything BUT my checkcard when I enrolled as well as making my purchases on line. And my most recent purchase was just a couple of months ago. I don't know of they changed their policy recently or perhaps I just did not say it was a checkcard. They can probably tell it is a check c...

I was impressed by the price of the 3 pack. On Amazon it is $64 and on the DMC it is $45ish(don't recall exactly without looking.) It is surprising to see something in the club cheaper than retail. I am not as frustrated that a multipack does not count more than one toward your fulfillment as much a...

Toy Story
I was thinking about looking for Toy Story I and II on ebay, etc. to add to my growing collection, but got to thinking. I don't want to get it now if in the not too distant future there would be a new special edition coming out. I know the movie is fairly old, in dvd terms and wonder if it is anywhe...

Difference in Edition names
Could someone please explain the differences in all the different edition names, such as "limited release", "Gold Edition", Platinum Edition", and probably tons of others? Does this mean there are other editions? Is it just marketing? For example, The Aristocats is a Gold Ed...

Widescreen vs Full Screen
I am pretty new to collecting dvd's. Is there any real reason to getting a Widescreen version vs a Full Screen version besides preference? My mom heard something about high definition tv's being better with wide screen. Of course we don't have one, but as they go down in price may one day have one. ...

new deal
Thanks for the info. Is there any time period you have to wait after you close out an account before you start another? I guess people do it all the time, so there is not really anything they can say to stop anyone. Is it anything like the record clubs where they send you a good deal after you cance...

Hi, I just received my intro package and am now starting to get the monthly notices. This month they have 'purchase the item of the month(which is finding nemo) and get other movies at 25% off. I am wondering if this is a good deal or are there others I should wait for to make multiple purchase of m...
