Could someone please explain the differences in all the different edition names, such as
"limited release", "Gold Edition", Platinum Edition", and probably tons of others?
Does this mean there are other editions?
Is it just marketing?
For example, The Aristocats is a Gold Edition and Beauty and the Beast is Platinum. In the fall, the Lion King II will be out in a Special Edition.
I guess I am wondering, especially as I cruise ebay, are there more than one edition of movies out there and if so how do I know and what do I look for?
Enough questions for one posting??
