I'm interested in joining........but I'd like to know a couple things first. :)

I received an introduction offer in the mail a few days ago, and it has a sheet of "stamps" representing the movies you can pick (3 for free). One of the movies that I want is Oliver and Company, and it's not on the "stamp" sheet. What I did was I went to the Movie Club's website, an I saw a MUCH larger selection of movies to pick from. Now, that would be fine (I wanted to join online) but they don't take debit cards which is what my mom has, and you can't pay by check online. So yea, kinda sucks for me  . What I'd like to know is, if I join through the mail (pay by check), would I be able to buy Oliver and Company and other movies that are shown online that are not on the stamp sheet???

If anyone can help me I'd really appreciate it :)

Yeah, once you're a member, you can buy any movie they have just by calling in. And if things ever change, you can transfer your phone/mail account to an internet account easily. Also, I'm willing to bet (though I'm not entirely sure) that you can stamp movies on there now and then call them in a couple of days and ask them to swap them for the DVDs you want. Or, better yet, you might be able to join entirely over the phone, but I'm not sure. Someone here will know.

You can join over the phone by calling 1-888-257-9100 (according to the website, their hours are 9 am to 7 pm Monday thru Friday). I'm not sure what methods of payment they take over the phone, but hopefully this will solve your problem.

I just found this on their website, so it looks like you are in luck.

Can I join without using a credit card?

Yes. You may pay for orders with check or money order. System restrictions prevent processing check orders on our Web site. You will need to place your order by mail at DMC, PO Box 738, Neenah, WI 54957-0738, including the promotion code and payment with the order, or over the phone at 1-888-257-9100. Our call center hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Eastern Time Monday-Friday.

I have never used anything BUT my checkcard when I enrolled as well as making my purchases on line. And my most recent purchase was just a couple of months ago. I don't know of they changed their policy recently or perhaps I just did not say it was a checkcard. They can probably tell it is a check card by the numbers somehow, but so far it has worked for me. If is asks for check card vs credit card try checking credit.
Just a thought.

They have Wave 2 of the Walt Disney Treasures, but that's about it. Oh, and probably some leftover stock of the ones that went out of print last January. Other than that, no.
