In my opinion its one of the best movies Pixar has yet produced. The story is very simple but deep, charming and unforgettable. It has a very strong message that change can happen and dreams can come true as long as you work hard for it. The musical score is astounding, perhaps the best in ANY movie to date. The song "Le Festin" adds a lot of flair and class to a genre populated by horrid pop songs.jediliz wrote:my dad heard this movie was good and bought the DVD for $10 at Target, today. Was it really that good? It was the first Pixar movie I absolutely refused to see.......
The animation is also amazing, as expected from Pixar. My only gripe is that Linguini can be annoying, but he ain't really bad. Oh yeah, the voice acting is great. You have everything from Pixar's own talent to legendary Oscar winners providing the voices.
So even if you think the movie wasn't that great you will enjoy it.
