I finally got RC, which uses NINE (!!!!!!) batteries. Sheesh!! Yes, he came with 4, but mine were drained almost instantly due to the "Play Me" button getting pushed. True, you don't need the remote batteries technically, but it's way better with the remote!
I now own the complete line, except for the wrong soldiers which irrates me, nobody near me has the COA one. I'm afraid to risk Amazon and get the wrong bucket, but the whole idea they released two buckets annoys me.
Yeah, in some cases it's weird that they released two or even more versions. So confusing I mean... I still have only seen the COA Rex at the Disney Store. Incidentally, I notice my COA Rex isn't all THAT interactive, nor does he seem to have that many different phrases. I wonder if his battery was run down or something, but he speaks loud and seems to work and move fine, just doesn't seem to do all that much as I would expect compared to Buzz or Woody. They sort of interact with each other, but he doesn't really interact with them. And, yeah, I've switched him from the Try Me mode to the Play mode, so it's not that. He's awesome, but I wish I could get more phrases out of him or something. He usually introduces himself when you twist his tail, but sometimes says other stuff, including that he needs a nap.

If I don't twist his tail, he doesn't speak, though I seem to remember him speaking at least a little more often and without tail twisting when I first brought him home... Maybe it IS the batteries.
