Well I called in finally today--called the Canadian number on the DIsney website. Very nice customer service lady. She asked for my info, then asked me to read the number on the inside ring of the play side of both DVDs--the prob was she said it would start with (I think) an MG... None of mine start...

Hunchback shouldn't be too hard--it had a stunning DVD release with tons of cut songs, demos etc all left off the DVD. Hercules has a lot of things liek song demos they could include as well...

A good example of the flickering is at the start of chapter 4 around 10:25 I think it's fromt heoriginal film element it just seems odd that the restoration didn't correct this as it's throughout the film

Yeah the bootleg itself PLAYS fantastically and looks great (the disc contents I mean) it's just the idea of the thing that irks me. But... as bad as this is (and I didn't do it on purpose) I may just hold on to it and not pay 50 bucks to risk another copy and wait till next year...

Well the seller was very polite, she said that they had encountered this problem before and gave me the full refund, even for shipping. Now I wanna try to get a legit copy but am worried other Amazon sellers will assume they have legit copies as well and I'll just get another bootleg...

This is getting really anal but actually it was Ken Anderson, as Bluth says in the short docu on Nimh's new disc, that brouhgt the novel to Disney. The high ups didn't like it for a few reasons but it alwasy stuck with Bluth. Anyway it's an interesting idea but I'm nearly certain that Black Cauldron...

Yah these rumours have been flying around for a Fall release for at least 5 years now...

I dunno I think Madonna is holding onto something liek that for when she really has a flop or stops selling records (similar to why she has kept Blonde Ambition off DVD)

I'd be surprised if Earthsea got a Razzie--certainlyt hat's extreme. It did divide critics sharply but did get a number of good reviews--mroe than a number.
