Well, I went ahead and bought this. 8) Not only is it anamorphic, all menus are english, the cover is 95% english and it has a lovely slipcase. This is the best NTSC version availiable for this film, and i thoroughly recommend for all those who are NTSC locked, or do not wish to purchase the French ...

The Black Cauldron, Korean R3 anamorphic? YES it is!
I found a review which implies that the Korean R3 DVD release of the Black Cauldron is anamorphic: http://www.thegline.com/dvd-of-the-week/2004/09-13-2004.htm I realise that BC has already been released with an anamorphic transfer in France but that is prohibitively expensive. Also since Korea Is an...

Hi, thanks to the original poster for bringing this anamorphic release to my attention, finally an anamorphic release of Black Cauldron! I can’t wait to get this DVD to replace my old R1 non-anamorphic release, it’s been a long wait, and I know those of you with 16X9 TVs will agree. The only...

I have a VHS recording of ”nalle puh och honung treet” which I recorded back in 88 when TV3s broadcasts were the same for all Scandinavian countries. Although I’m Norwegian I find the Swedish dub is phenomenal and actually like it better then the English language one. I never though Sterling Hollowa...

Finally, Nightmare Before Christmas in anamorphic 1.66:1 (O
Weird… The recent re-release of Nightmare before Christmas in Scandinavia is actually 1.66.1 anamorphic! If you’ll recall, the UK re-release from 2002, which replaced the old non- anamorphic barebones version was actually matted at 1.85:1, removing some of the picture at the top and bottom of the fr...

Like I said, the packaging is in a regular-size blue double-amaray. There is no tin. Don’t know about the lithographs but I doubt it. There doesn’t seem to be any dubbed audio as these sets are primarily aimed at older fans and collectors, not children. All though I wont know for sure until I have h...

It’s a two-disc set and the contents appear to be identical to the US release although I haven’t made a detail comparison of the two. The packagin...
