Re: Most anticipated Disney movie of 2025

1. Elio. I didn't expect to think much on this one, but I enjoyed it a lot when Glordon came into the picture. I think the voice acting was really good in this one. It was a very cute and heartwarming little film. Possibly due to Domee and ( her attempts to keep elements alive from Molina's work ) t...

Re: Zootopia 2

Saw Z2, it was fine enough and surely was a fun ride. But why does this franchise struggle so much to portray a specific species as redeemable when it's linked to an antagonist and forget to include other good citizens (same species) animal in the city? It was a problem in the first movie with the s...

Re: Rank the WDAS sequels

1. Fantasia 2000 ( I mostly enjoy it ) 2. Frozen 2 ( Sorta ambitious, but restrained from it's potential. Still enjoyable. Nice songs and visuals ) 3. Moana 2 ( I like the exploring of the myths and antagonists more, but that's about it ) 4. Down Under ( I really don't like how little involvement Bi...

Re: Which Black Sheep among the Disney Canon is your favorite?

I can think of a few - MTR I really enjoy Meet The Robinsons! If not for it's time travel schtick, the film feels quite grounded and similar in emotion to Lilo & Stitch. It's easy to tune into and just have a good time with it's ridiculous optimism. - ENG Emperor's New Groove! I can't think of a...

Re: Moana (Live-Action)

Something seems off with the style they're going for. Some shots (like the one where she places her hand in the water) looks pretty solid! The choice of lighting and odd clarity make it seem like it came from advanced video game's graphics instead of real motion. Even reminds of generated ai videos....

Re: The new Princesses being excluded from the lineup

Eric's kingdom remind of the Adriatic sea a bit. Then there is also the french influences in the movie spread out with some germanic creative choices in the village. The coast of Italy is a high contender especially since Andersen traveled to Italy before writing the fairy tale. Definitely a Mediter...

Re: Tarzan First Impressions

What a relief that they went with Collins. Whether they would have made the characters sing or not, I would have been fine with it. I'm very much satisfied with the direction they went with. To see Tarzan belt while climbing with the gorillas "Power to be strong" would have been something ...

Re: Elio

One could really tell the moments they tried to tone down the undertones, but despite their efforts it was obviously still present in small fragments. I can assure had they not been so freaky, then Molina's Elio would have hugged a crying Glordon instead of saying "Why didn't you say something?...

Re: Elio

Anyways, Disney's 90s films were aggressively queer coded, and that was their financial high point. Try again. Very true indeed. They can still have that in this decade, they just haft to get their act together and not make it the focal point in the marketing & social media articles. Since this...

Re: Pixar's Gatto

I feel skeptical if this movie will actually be making it to the finish line in 2027. Especially if their new IP keep losing them money. The worrying sign would be a delay 1 year or 2 from it's release. I sure hope Casarosa sticks to his vision.

Re: Snow White (Live-Action)

I made a TikTok video when the first picture of her as SW came out and I said the same thing that you are saying. To make SW hairstyle you need more length because her hair is not so short. She has a waves hairstyle and you need more length to make the waves. They tried to improve it in some scenes...

Re: Toy Story 5

Q: Compared to pre-1990s animated shows and movies, today’s kids’ shows feel so fast-paced. How will that play out in Toy Story 5? Pete Docter : If you go back and look at Bambi — I’m picking an extreme that’s kind of intentionally slow because it is about nature and watching the changes seasons an...

I saw the same copy. I'm torn, because yes, these are the colors I remember, although I have to admit, it may be a bit too dark, even for me. I think something that splits the difference could be amazing though. https://i.imgur.com/6itXgLM.png https://i.imgur.com/OKUGKCn.png https://i.imgur.com/Tf5...

Farerb sent me a link (thank you, by the way :) ), but it doesn't have Beauty and the Beast, only Little Mermaid, Lion King, Aladdin and Mulan. If you can, send it to me. :) I sent you two links. One of them has Beauty and the Beast. I'm sorry for asking, but it would mean the world to me if you co...
