Feature Animation DVD & Blu-Ray Release History?
I love this site, but the Featured Animation list is not very user-friendly. I think it could be improved a lot. Instead of just lumping all the release information into a paragraph in one column, I think there should be a row for each release under each movie and that row should contain the release...

3D Glasses
Does anyone know if the plastic 3D glasses you can buy to watch 3D Blu-Rays are worth it over the disposable ones. Figure you are going to use them maybe half a dozen times a year AT MOST. I read somewhere if you get fingerprints on the lenses they are essentially ruined. If the plastic glasses the ...

Has anyone heard any inside information or want to venture a semi-educated guess as to how Blu-Ray will be incorporated into Treasures? With re-releases of old feature animations coming out on Blu-Ray would they possibly release both DVD and Blu-Ray, or, since they are numbered limited editions, wil...

Re: Blu-Ray Old Animations REALLY Worth It?
I'm glad I came back. That interview is one of the best interviews I've ever read regarding Disney's animation products. Truly incredible and eye-opening. It is quite impressive the technology they were using all the way back to the days of Snow White! It is clear now that I will definitely have to ...

Blu-Ray Old Animations REALLY Worth It?
Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge Disney Animated Classics fan and have all the classics on DVD in the latest versions released up to 101 Dalmatians is the last upgrade I bought. I've recently got a Blu-Ray Player and a high-end 58" 1080P Plasma. Oh my, the movies we've watched are incredible, wat...

If you bought legitimate copies Disney doesn't care you bought the Bootlegs to use as a backup set, they already got their money from you. Maybe it's technially illegal, be interesting to get an attorney's opinion, but the bootlegs are produced on the same DVD's you or I can use. My printer prints o...

Yes, it's that gold looking treasure box with a princess on it. I'm just curious if the discs look decent both physically and on the screen. I know prior to DVD-9 the compression made it look aweful, wondering now if the DVD-9 bootlegs, which these are look the same. Heck I bought one of E-bay accid...

100 Years of Magic Set
Has anyone viewed the 100 Years of Magic Set being sold all over E-bay. I knew this couldn't be a legit product. Sellers are usually from China. It looks failry impressive though. I'd be curious about the quality of printing on the DVD's and the picture quality compared to the authentic versions? An...

In following up to my previous message, one other title comes up: The Wild - But, in reading the background, I see it wasn't created by Disney - so it doesn't make my list. I guess the other one that comes to mind would be Roger Rabbit? It appears the artistry IS from Disney, it just wasn't released...

I collect the Disney Feature Animations (notice I didn't use the work Classic) as a way to have a chronological depiction of the evolution of Disney Feature Animations (feature meaning, released in theaters). So in that context I have no problem including Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons. The o...

The 2003 version looks awesome except for one thing, the hue of the colors is SO much different. I'd like to see the original movie in the theater and see how close the hues are. It looks to be like they took some liberty to change the color hues. I don't like the idea of changing the colors that mu...

Forgive me if this wikipedia entry has been discussed (I read the first few and last few posts in this huge thread).... I've been sort of depressed since Chicken Little as I'm a fan of the pure artistry of hand-drawn feature animations. However I'm also a realist in that technology marches on and th...

How Do You Define an Animated Classic?
This has been discussed before but with Disney's purchase of Pixar, I thought it would be interesting to see if it has changed anyone's take on what a Disney Animated Classic is. Is the typical definition an animated movie released in movie theaters that is produce by 'Walt Disney Feature Animation'...

Yes, I will ship to Canada. Will probably be $20, plus $2 for each additional. Half-off shipping if you buy 5 or more (so if you buy 5 it would be $10+4x$1 = $14 instead of $28.) Free shipping plus 5% off if you buy 10 or more. I haven't decided on prices yet. I ship worldwide. 100% positive feedbac...
