Well, in the widescreen version, even though they cropped some of the top and bottom, they also added some picture to the sides.

Anywhere would be good to start. Nausicaa would be a fine place to start. In terms of general accessiblility, Kiki's Delivery Service or Porco Rosso are probably the most accesible. I actually didn't like Spirited Away because of it's incoherentness. Also don't forget about Castle of Cagliostro and ...

It's been ten years already? I feel so old. A new release is welcome, but I hope it doesn't blow away the Ultimate Toy Box since I hate upgrading.

I didn't like:
The Lion King: cause of so-so songs, the wierd Nazi parody, a baboon that acted more Eastern than African, and bleh characters.
Lilo and Stitch: cause Lilo was a brat all the way through, her oddness, the goofball aliens, and poor use of Elvis songs.

People should keep in mind that this is the R3 HK release and all the features might not be exactly the same as the R1. The previous R3 HK DVD didn't have any trailers on it either. Disneychris04, if you have the time, it would be nice to just make a list of all the features and materials... what I ...

Well, I have checked it out and that's why I said, I wish there was more to it than just European listings. All I see is France, Germany, UK/Australia, Netherlands, etc.. I don't know why the Asians are discriminated against.

I wish this site had a list of all the international DVDs with specs and possible "problems". This is supposed to be the ULTIMATE guide to Disney DVD, after all. There's more to international than just Europe. Even though I'm in LA and can go to the Land anytime I want, I'm happy to see HK...

I'm in the US but I've bought two Disney movies from HK. The main reason for my buying is for the inclusion of the Cantonese and Mandarin tracks. I have Mulan, only thing is that it doesn't have the trailer. I have Finding Nemo, which seems to come with everything; I'd have to inspect it more closely.
