Ok, sports fans.... Here's my list:
1. Mary Poppins (who else?)
2. Never Cry Wolf (a Disney film where the main character eats mice!)
3. Freaky Friday (the original with Jodie Foster)
4. Living Desert (outside of that annoying square dance, a perfect film)
5. Muppet Christmas Carol (though I consider this a Muppet film first)
6. Song of the South (not deserving of its long-standing obscurity)
7. 20,000 Leagues under the Sea (what's not to like?)
8. Darby O'Gill and the Little People (definite sleeper)
9. Something Wicked This Way Comes (Bradbury is a god)
10. Candleshoe (Jodie again--see #3)
11. Straight Story (Richard should have gotten Best Actor)
12. Now You See Him, Now You Don't (childhood favorite)
13. Love Bug (who'd a-thunk a VW could act?)
14. Third Man on the Mountain (a surprisingly engaging little yarn)
15. Journey of Natty Gann (love the film, not the DVD)
16. Napoleon and Samantha (Jodie again. Sorry.)
17. Treasure Island (fully live-action debut)
18. Cool Runnings (ya mon)
19. Misadventures of Merlin Jones (delightfully quirky, a genre unto itself)
20. Ten Who Dared (So bad it's good. I love to make fun of it.)
