What about Atlantis? Didn't that flop big time? Or even Emperor's New Groove? I thought that did pretty bad too. I'm talking in terms of box office, not home video.

I just scored!

I went to Amoeba Music a few days ago in Hollywood and I scored! They had a limited issue Peter Pan (used) for sale, and it was only $14.99! I was so excited! So, did I do good?

They look so awesome! All of them together look so slick, a lot better than the current set. I love how dvds look when they all match. Great work!

So why did it need "actors" in the first place? Because Warners had no confidence in a non-CGI animated movie. True, but I believe it was mainly because live action=cheap. That's why during WWII, Disney made Saludos Amigos, Song of the South etc... it's just soo much cheaper to make a liv...

Disney needs to start taking some advice from Pixar. Back when Disney was great, it would take them 4 years (likely even more) to make a movie, most of which was story development. That number slowly became less and less, and with the advent of DVD, it seems like each movie is only getting about 2 y...

Thanks everyone!!! I had a blast there last night, and I can't recommend it enough to go and check out. The atmosphere is just so nice and the cast members are awesome. Yeah, it was disappointing about the dvds.. I forgot to say they had a digital movie finder there as well that lets you order movie...

Well, I went tonight for my birthday. First off, the place itself is really nice. It has a doorman, the castmembers (I guess you would call them that) were super cool, and the ice cream was killer. It's a great place and a great atmosphere. Now the bad news.... the dvd selection isn't very good. If ...

I didn't realize until like last year this was a Disney movie! I saw it in theaters and everything, but I guess it has more of a Don Bluth (All Dogs Go to Heaven) feel rather than Disney. I never really liked it anyway...

Daveigh Chase is Lilo, and since she's not doing the voice, I'm gonna have to skip it. Stitch is one of my favorite characters too, and I love the first one, I love Stitch the Movie and even the TV series. Without Chase, it just isn't the same, and I'm not gonna bother with it :(

Thanks for the welcome and the tip. I have some DVD software that is able to tell me the region codes, and it came up with "Region 1, 4" which I guess means there are 2 possible region codes, one for North America (1) and the other for Australia (4). So it does have a region code, but ther...

Pinocchio DVD question

Hello all. Long time lurker, first time poster. I recently just purchased Pinocchio Gold Collection used off of half.com for $22 shipped, which was a pretty good deal. However, all these posts of bootleg dvds have me kinda scared I purchased a bootleg, even though it doesn't look like it. It's in go...
