Grimhilde the Wicked Queen is still the Foulest One of All!!

I think that Grimhilde, the Wicked Queen ( according to the official Disney comic anyway!!) is my all time favourite, followed by Maleficent, and then Cruella De Vil. I love the early Gustav Tenggren images of the Wicked Queen/Witch, they are wonderful Arthur Rackham -like drawings which really shou...

You would think that they would simply have corrected the factual errors before publishing the books, however, in my humble opinion, they are still the most beautiful books about Disney that have been produced!!

Why no US Edition of Pierre Lambert Snow White book??

As an addition to another book related topic I have already posted a version of this post. I'm astonished that, as yet, there has been no US edition of Blanche Neige by Pierre Lambert which is, I think, the author of Pinocchio and Mickey Mouse third Disney volume. Monsieur Lambert should receive con...

Hello, I want to know the release dates for the forthcoming Platinum Edition animated classics, all I know is that Aladdin is coming out in October......what movie is next after that?? Snow White a sequel never

If Di$ney ever makes a sequel to Snow White then two tender parts of the anatomy of Michael Eisner should end up in the Wicked Queens heart box!! In the sequel the Witch having been despatched by the lightning bolt manages to grab a branch and clambers all the way back up the top of the mo...

[quote="Disneykid"]Aurora and Maleficent at the spinning wheel? I'm guessing that's the back cover art? Either way, I agree that, yes, the cover art (and disc art) is disgraceful. The French DVD Art is much more pleasing. The faces are dreadful on this DVD cover they don't even resemble Au...

The artwork on the Sleeping Beauty cover is ghastly

Considering IMHO the painstaking artwork in Sleeping Beauty is so beautiful, the DVD cover art sucks big time. :( The particularly ghastly view of Maleficent and Aurora at the magic Spinning Wheel is so bad Marc Davis and Eyvind Earle must be spinning in their graves!! What do other forum readers th...

Hello, Although I voted for the Wicked Queen from Snow White, Maleficent is really my joint favourite villainess, but there wasn't an option to vote for a joint favourite!! I just wish I'd known that Eleanor Audley was still around up to a couple of years ago because I would have written to her to a...
