Favorite Disney Villainess
Here are some villainesses, if I have negected one I am sorry, I know there is one in ENG, but as I don't quite know her name, I skipped it, but as it stands now I don't think she compares with the top at my list ehich are ranked as follows:
#1 Maleficent (I don't think an explanation is neccessary)
2. Lady Tramaine/Stepmother (Seemingly always unfairly over looked. Her wicked ways were subtle and her abuse both mental and physical, though subtle damaging all the same) [And hey, would you know she even shares a voice as well as a striking resemblance to #1!]
3. Ursula (Sorry Evil Queen, but I just happen to like Ursula better than you; Evil, hillarious, and she can carry a tune)
4. I suppose I have to acknowledge the Evil Queen, who is indeed wicked... "Bring me her heart in this box"
All the rest are runners up, and therefore not important in my book. (never seen the Rescuers so can't really judge her, but I would guess she's more or the same as Cruella)

ummm...obviously you have forgotten that Ursula had King Triton's trident. Why, she could have turned Maleficent into a steaming pile of dog doo with that thing!MickeyMouseboy wrote:she wasnt close to Maleficent!!! she can kick the ::BEEP:: out of ursula!indianajdp wrote:Ursula was a bad mother....
I'm telling you had she just turned Eric into a sea slug or something she would be ruling the Oceans today

I love 'em all.
Always like the evil characters better, anyways.
Ursula was pretty bad, and Little Mermaid is one of my fave films partly for that reason.
But Maleficent just had a supremely evil aura about her (plus the ability to turn into a dragon, which is always handy at parties). She just defines evil villainess for me.
Mind you Madam Mim could also turn into a dragon, but she was more amusingly evil than evil evil. Love Sword in the Stone. Book and film.

My favourite villainesses are:
1. Maleficent: she's just so evil-with the powers of hell on her side (I think she may be related to Chernabog)
2. Ursula: like Maleficent, she's just so evil...
3. Lady Tremaine: in the prologue, the narrator says Cinderella was abused-I have no tolerance for child abuse (even though she's not quite a child)
I really didn't like the Wicked Queen from Snow White-but are we talking about her, or her crone form? they're not quite the same.

I went with the Evil Queen, she wanted to cut Snow White's heart out for flips sake!
I've always thought though that in the wedding scene in TLM where Ursela burst's out of her human body and pull's herself down to Arie was really creepy!

If this poll was asking who was the most evil i would have picked someone else. However, since the poll asked who your favorite was, i voted Cruella b/c she is too funny... BUT my absolute fav is Ezma
(spell?) from TENG.... I love her, she is quite possibly one of the funniest characters in animation history.... But thats MY opinion

Inigo: I do not mean to pry, but you don't by any chance happen to have six fingers on your right hand?
Westley: Do you always begin conversations this way?
Inigo: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to kill you.
Westley: You seem a decent fellow. I hate to die.

Believe it or not, I picked Cruella. I think she's the most fun to watch, mostly because of her physical expressions and her undeniable interest in nobody but herself. She's quite hilarious. I do, however, think that all the ladies on the list were great. I find the villianesses much more intriguing and entertaining than the villains.
What would this wretched world be like without Disney?

Hey Prince Adam, I agree!Prince Adam wrote:You're right, Sulley: you think that Disney of all things would portray women as the maternal, caring, and stereotypical mother-like figures society likes us to think. Cruella and Medusa are nothing if not contradictory to that.
Vitani and Zira are evil! Zira does care about Nuka and Kuvo though. She misses Nuka when he leaves. Aww. Zira even sings a lullaby to Nuka. Isn't she sweet?
Maleficent? I haven't heard of her. Then again, I haven't seen any Disney Movie made before 1989 except Marry Poppins and 101 Dalmations (1961).
