Der Glöckner von Notre Dame

I was reading a recent book I purchased on Aida when I read that Huchback of Notre Dame was being produced in Berlin. Who knows how long ago this was, but I was curious about it (as the novel is my favorite book). I can't find anything on it. The only abroad show they seem to have is Mary Poppins. D...

How did the Lion King thing go down. I've had other people try to tell me Disney stole the idea before (from that one Anime or something). I informed them of their real inspirations (like making a second Bambi, Hamlet, and the Moses). Really, how did it all go down? (I think the nemo one is absurd, ...

The interesting thing about the melody to "If I never Knew You" is that it can be found in almost all of the movie's score. Just listen to the soundtrack (a performance of the song can be found at the end of the CD). Almost every instramental piece has the theme play. "If I Never Knew...

I have the soundtrack, and I know what you mean. It is a nice little piece. The same trill theme is repeated throughout the movie. You can probably find the same type thing on the disc if neccessary. I don't think they release it as you would like.

It looks great but I think the menus should stick to the "art pieces" (the later abstract pictures).

I actually don't like virtual galleries because they take too long to navigate or it is just wasted space on a disc.

The presentation is really good though.

I was surprised by the Disneyland USA clips. They were surprisingly funny and enlightening. I must say I enjoyed the problems they had on their live broadcast (like the demonstration of Nuclear power). Its also interesting to see how times have changed ("And gathered here is a group of boys. Th...

I think the second movie has more value than the first, which is rare. Sadly, the first movie has a better DVD, though this DVD isn't that great either. I own both and they are both so different. Medusa at times seems like another Cruella, which really isn't that bad. Question: When the camera pans ...

The faint light from the loading area at WDW only adds to the experience (but I think the planets and stuff add more light than the loading area). You can still see the glow in the dark cars, and it is still very dark. However, you can see faint outlines of support bars that sweep by, almost beheadi...

This is a ride you can't explain with words. I love it. I have only been on the WDW version, though. Flying over london is especially fun. Maybe I just like looking down on things. This definitly beats other Fantasyland rides (especially Dumbo where you have to wait in the sun for an hour). I prefer...

What I love about It's A Small World at WDW is... hard to explain. I really like its small entrance. It is really small, it can't compete with DL. But I like how you walk in and it opens up to be really big. And its cool (as in temperature), which is great in Florida. It is really like you are takin...

I don't think the fort is closed at WDW. I haven't visited in awhile, so that could have changed. I usually make an attempt to shoot people on Thunder Mountain with a fake gun from the fort. Lots of fun, I assure you. The island really is a place to escape because it is so different. However, the wa...

I have a copy of the DVD. That is, the extended version. At first I didn't understand why they had sloppy voice overs and such, like near the end in the store. For me, Portobello Road was just a wee bit too long, yet I don't think I could live without the other songs and such. I do miss "A Step...

I'd say the most powerful scences are affected by their music. i.e. When Aurora is slowly climbing the stairs to the spindle, the music (an oboe?) adds to the eerie effect. Also, in A Bug's Life when Flick looks over the cliff into the barren creek bed, the music adds to just how massive, yet small ...
