Well, here we go with Part 2 of the attractions discussion, since Space Mountain lost steam after the forum problems. It sucks that we lost those great posts. Anyway, here goes.

So, I always thought this was a fun ride. It was a nice break from the sweltering heat, to duck inside this cool dark ride and fly on a pirate's ship. The best part, of course, is the flight over London at night. A friend of mine proposed to his girlfriend at that part of the ride, because it was her favorite ride. She said yes of course.

i went to WDW this sunmmer. this i think was the first ride we went on the night we got there. it was drizzling a little so my shoes were wet, and i almost fell while loading onto the ship. lol

This is my favorite "dark ride." I can't not ride it when I go. It gets such a long line too, which is impressive since it has been there so long. One day, I was waiting in line with my mom and somebody infront of us had some bad bo. My mom took out a little thing of car spray she had on her and sprayed it. Ha ha ha. It was so funny. As a kid, I always tried to reach out and touch stuff. My arms are finally long enough.

I love Peter Pan's flight. I love all of Disney's dark rides. I just love the feeling of being a part of the scene that's taking place before you. My favorite part of the ride is travelling over London. The effect is very simple but very effective. My only complaint about the ride is that I wish there was more animation involved. A lot of the figures are stationary, and most of the movement occurs from things in the background (like the silhouette of the kids flying across the moon). Still, it's more animated than Snow White, and I love going on it each time I go to WDW.

Peter Pan's Flight is probably the best dark ride of the bunch in Fantasyland (I'd rank them as follows: 1 Peter Pan's Flight, 2 Mr Toad's Wild Ride, 3 Alice in Wonderland, 4 (tie) Snow White's Scary Adventure, and 4 (tie) Pinocchio's Daring Journey). The night scene over London is just really awesome. We're going to Disneyland next month and will definitely be riding this one. On a scale of 5, I'd give Peter Pan's Flight a 4.

This is the coolest ride in Fantasyland, and the one most kids, including myself, remember the most from riding it as a child. This is evident in the EXTREMELY long lines this attraction gets throughout the day at Disneyland - I don't think there's any lull. Since that's the case, I usually opt not to go on it, but it remains one of my all time favorites. The only downside is that its very short, and it seems all the other Fantasyland rides are longer.

OMG, one of my favorite fantasyland rides (right up there with It's A Small World and the late great Mr. Toad), but I always hated how there was always a 60+ minute wait time.

But still, the wait is always worth it, as soon as we set down into the ship and go through London and Neverland...

As Kram said when he was little, circa 1991 (our first trip to Disney World), "I like Small World and Peter Payan".

I had there pleasure of working at Peter Pan's Flight in Walt Disney World in the Fall of 2000. It was a thrill, being that Peter Pan is one of my favorite disney movies. I agree that the line does take a while and moves slow (and even slower since fast pass was put there, boo), but it is well worth the wait. I will never forget the first time I got to walk through the ride before it opened. London town was so cool. Some would say that would spoil the magic, but for me the magic continued being able to see how everything really worked. It is to this day my favorite attraction in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom.

I love Peter Pan's Flight going on the ship and looking up or down what a great experience. I hardly go on this ride due to the long lines but when I do it's worth the wait.

This is a ride that I always enjoy, but I seldom ride it anymore because of the long wait. If I can get on in the early morning or during a parade, that is the ideal time.

My favorite part of the ride is soaring around Captain Hook's ship and watching the showdown between Hook and Peter Pan.

Once again-the Disneyland version is superior to the WDW version, although the WDW version is okay (unlike WDW Space Mountain-see my post in the Space Mountain discussion). There is always a line for this ride, but I always ride this when I visit-it's a must ride in my opinion. (I'm a sucker for Pirate themed rides anyway)

I don't go on this ride often, because the line is always insanely long

But it's so cute! I love how the track is on the ceiling, and you have to look down!

I have to agree with most of the posters, that the line is too long.
A childhood favorite of fine, but haven't been on it these past couple of times I visited Disneyland. It's usually something we hold off until the end after we are done with all the higher-profiled attractions, but discover that the line is still long and that we are too tired. So we always hold off

I just got back from WDW last night. I've been there plenty of times, but this was the first time I'd been there for Christmas- they really go all out! We spent several LONG days in the parks (we hit three parks on our last day alone- over 14 hours). Of course we rode Peter Pan's Flight, it's a staple of WDW and one of my (and everyone's, it seems) favorites. It's so well done. I always enjoy the cameos from Ariel and the Raggedy-Anne dolls, too.

I remember my first trip to WDW when I was very young- I was scared because the ride description had me thinking that I would actually fly across Neverland with a real-life Peter Pan on some sort of wire and then sword fight with Capt. Hook.

Unfortunately, it was closed on both of my first two trips there. On my third trip, it was finally open, but we got stuck for nearly an hour on it! I've ridden it every time since then, though, and love it!

It's A Small World is down for a year-long rehab now and it's expected that either Pan, Pirates, or Haunted Mansion will go down for the same after this upcoming summer. Ride Pan while you can! (Though I really think Pirates will be the next to get it).

This is a ride you can't explain with words. I love it. I have only been on the WDW version, though.

Flying over london is especially fun. Maybe I just like looking down on things. This definitly beats other Fantasyland rides (especially Dumbo where you have to wait in the sun for an hour). I prefered Mr. Toad, but he's gone now and replaced by that bumbling fool Pooh.

I can't really say that the fastpass is a bad thing for this ride. Those who choose to wait in the long line wait in the long line while I get a fastpass and go on Haunted Mansion while waiting.
