Benjamin's Marina's trusty manatee sidekick, who stands by her through thick and thin.

I've just been to IMDb's TLM3 page to see if Benjamin will have a speaking part and look what I found:

I seriously doubt it's THAT good

Technically considering how far out and deep Atlantica must be, he is a dugong. Manatees stay in more coastal regions and don't go in the ocean much at all. Where as dugongs spend far more time in the ocean. Though his tail is more like a manatees. But then one can't really trust Disney to be that scientific. Rafiki had a tail and Spot (from TLM series) slept on the bottom of the ocean.Old Fish Tale wrote:He's a manatee!
Though I find it ironic they chose a sea cow....When sailors first took to the sea, they would often confuse the sluggish sea cow for beautiful mermaids....they were at sea a loooooong time.

Yeah, I think Benjamin (is that his name?) will probably be like Wiggins from Pocahontas. You know, well-meaning and totally out of it. I can't believe they put him on the cover though. It's unnecessary and he crowds it.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

The Little Mermaid III: It's a Manatee
Isidour...OMG too funny, and rather genius.
Siren, did you see Old Fish Tale's later post showing Disney does indeed call him a manatee and I guess they aren't being accurate, then?
