Anyway, on the day I gave her the video, her sister happened to be there as well and was pretty shocked to see I had the movie. She told us how her daughter loves "The Little Mermaid II" and that she's been looking non-stop for the original film but with no luck.
Anyway, it was eventually me who went to take the video from the store with the 2 copies. The woman in the store handed me the original VHS first. She then looked at the sticker, laughed and said: "I've been looking for this video for my neice for months, I promised to buy it to her for her birthday but bought her "Shrek" instead". Poor girl
Anyway, this just goes to show you how eager people are to have a copy of "The Little Mermaid". The anticipation is huge and it's still 2 years away
P.S. I live in Israel and strangely E-Bay is not a common thing in here, and even so, there are no hebrew versions of the film available there.
