I completely agree, Brelly. Adriana was great to the end. Those kids getting to see real Snow White was a gift. You know, I am glad you posted that story, PatchofBlue, because I had heard she and the Prince never got in!

I had never heard that story either. The story itself was interesting.

Farerb, is that the bonus feature from the Diamond Edition? I never got around to that. Figured I would when I retired, along with all other Disney movies I cared about. I just watch Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty bonus features currently. I just don't have the time for others. Hopefully I get a lot of time to myself to watch other film bonuses sooner than retirement.

This is one of my favorite bonus features on any Disney home release. It's so well done, and very informative. Snow White's Platinum DVD and Diamond Blu-ray are among the best that Disney has ever released.

Popping in here because you DM'ed me on IG so I thought I'd check out how the forums are doing. Found a discussion about physical media bonus features so naturally I have to chime in, haha.

Based on the running time, I'm assuming it's all 31 featurettes/introductions in one video, plus the eight bonus cartoons that were included for context. When Disney reissued Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 2016, it removed the interactivity of the original "Hyperion Studios" disc and just made two half-hour documentaries from them, with some featurettes now serving as standalones, and a few more (plus all the bonus cartoons) dropped entirely.

Don't put things off because of a mythical promise of someday. Now is all any of us have. Make the time while you still can. The entirety of the "Hyperion Studios" video is 3 hours and 18 minutes. That's two minutes less than if you decided on a whim tonight to just rewatch the following bonus features you've already seen from Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty:

From Rags to Riches: The Making of Cinderella (38:17)
The Cinderella That Almost Was (14:09)
From Walt’s Table: A Tribute to Disney’s Nine Old Men (22:09)
The Art of Mary Blair (14:59)
The Real Fairy Godmother: The Incredible True Story of Mary Alice O’Connor (11:50)
Picture Perfect: The Making of Sleeping Beauty (43:30)
Eyvind Earle: The Man and His Art (7:32)
Sequence 8 (5:30)
The Sound of Beauty: Restoring a Classic (10:50)
The History of the Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough (9:52)
Art of Evil: Generations Of Disney Villains (9:52)

You have the time. You just have to choose what to use it on. :)

Thank you Vlad and Alby.

I truly do not have much time these days except on weekends. I have a novel of an email from another friend that has videos recommended to watch that are also, some, 3 hours +. But you know, even though I would be fine waiting till Heaven to watch, or perhaps live bonus features from my favorite Disney films (and I really, truly believe in Heaven myself, that the time we have now is not the only time we have), I will make the effort to watch that Hyperion 3 hour feature. :) I just don't know what weekend exactly, I still have that novel of an email to juggle it with.

I guess this was the weekend, because I watched the whole thing today! Well, I watched a lot at work over 2 days and finished it today. Thanks Farerb and Alby! It was the best bonus feature in the world. So interesting to see how things Walt did in all his cartoons carried on into his films.

That was really cool! The idea of Snow White losing her childlike innocence, experiencing trauma, and then recovering is astounding! That's like a metaphor for the whole film!
