So Grumpy. A character that takes a while to warm up to open up to his emotions and takes even longer to be open about who he loves, all of a sudden loves a random chick from nowhere. Makes sense and isn't out of character at all. Not.

Too bad Dumbo II was cancelled. It looked promising and more Dumbo would of been cool. :(

Well... I don't think that's as much of a given anymore than it was a few years back. I still think crappy direct to DVD sequels are a no go (although its a thin line between "sequel" and "spin off"), but I wouldn't be surprised I'd we saw a theatrical sequel of one of the more recent successful films like Tangled or Ralph.
Things may change if the CEO changes as when Eisner was replaced. I was never fond of Roy Disney he was turning most Disney fans into Cybermen and making them delete anyone who didn't go long.

This isn't about a movie sequel, but I guess it's kind of like a video game continuation...

Save the Enchanted Forest with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in New Mobile Game “Seven Dwarfs: The Queen’s Return”

(via disneyreport.com)

The little trailer doesn't give us too much info, but I mean, the Queen has returned...? Is this for Halloween? Has she become a zombie? Because I'm pretty sure she fell off a cliff and got crushed, right??!! Oh, Disney... Maybe it's a curse that has been reawakened or something and she's still dead, I really don't know. I just got an uneasy feeling when I just read the article! I guess the discovering pieces of the dwarfs' story is interesting...? And sequel/prequel-ish...?

Heh, I've been playing this since the day before yesterday.

It's a fun little game, pretty harmless by the looks of it. I'd say it's a lot like FarmVille, but I'd need some confirmation as I've never played that.

The Queen survived the fall by falling into (enchanted?) water. She then put a curse on the forest, causing evil trees (think Snow's nightmare sequence) to start growing everywhere.

You have to find all seven Dwarves and Snow White. To discover more areas of the forest, you need lanterns. To make lanterns, you need metal bits. You get those by mining.

There's nothing to really keep you playing, but it's addictive enough to last about a week (this might change depending how the rest of the game is).

The story is no more than 'The Queen is back, find everyone'. I would have no problem with my little niece playing this game.

No, she got crushed. :( As I get older, I get more and more protective of the stories, I guess...years ago this might not have bugged me! I bet it is harmless enough, but it's not canon!

It's a sort of addicting game, annoying glitches aside. I was actually quite happy to see them doing something with a classic canon film.

I liked it at first, but I loathe having to wait for everything to be built. And I refuse point blank to pay ! So I guess I am defeating the point of the game, but still ...

I do enjoy seeing them expand the world of Snow though, as she, the Queen and Dwarfs are shamefully overlooked.

I downloaded this game on my iPhone. It's pretty entertaining and the visuals are not bad at all, especially during the introductory video, that plays when you first open the app. That's classic Disney animation (well, maybe with a few modern twist here and there, and some CGI animation as well). The characters are also on model, especially Snow White, who I think is among the hardest Disney characters to draw, and the Queen (the Dwarfs not so much).

Anyways, this game is a lot like The Wizard of Oz game on Facebook.

REPORT: Diane Disney Miller’s ‘Snow White’ Adaptation Featuring New Dwarf in 2016
http://www.stitchkingdom.com/disney-rep ... 016-79555/
What makes this specific title of particular note, however, is the inclusion of Walt Disney’s daughter, the late Diane Disney Miller, as co-author. Not just for the fact that she was apparently involved in the series but that it incorporates elements from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, most notably that it was the Walt Disney Studios that actually named the dwarfs for the first time. Although there is no Angry in the film (though one could make an argument for Grumpy), the connections are quite clear.
I looked up the book series that this new book is from: http://www.quartoknows.com/SearchResult ... gone+wrong
Totally not Disney books, so it's interesting that Diane Disney Miller had a say in this...especially, I suppose, because she passed away... Very confused (I guess StitchKingdom.com is, too, because they tried to reach out to the book publisher)...

The video in question was originally posted by Mike Disa on his Vimeo account in 2018. He also posted story reel versions of the CG pitch trailer as well as a storyboard sequence from the film.
