Too bad Dumbo II was cancelled. It looked promising and more Dumbo would of been cool.

Things may change if the CEO changes as when Eisner was replaced. I was never fond of Roy Disney he was turning most Disney fans into Cybermen and making them delete anyone who didn't go long.SWillie! wrote:Well... I don't think that's as much of a given anymore than it was a few years back. I still think crappy direct to DVD sequels are a no go (although its a thin line between "sequel" and "spin off"), but I wouldn't be surprised I'd we saw a theatrical sequel of one of the more recent successful films like Tangled or Ralph.Polizzi wrote: I understand your interest, but as long as John Lasseter is in charge of Disney Animation Studios, he forbids sequels.
No, she got crushed.Nandor wrote:The Queen survived the fall by falling into (enchanted?) water.
I downloaded this game on my iPhone. It's pretty entertaining and the visuals are not bad at all, especially during the introductory video, that plays when you first open the app. That's classic Disney animation (well, maybe with a few modern twist here and there, and some CGI animation as well). The characters are also on model, especially Snow White, who I think is among the hardest Disney characters to draw, and the Queen (the Dwarfs not so much).blackcauldron85 wrote:This isn't about a movie sequel, but I guess it's kind of like a video game continuation...
Save the Enchanted Forest with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in New Mobile Game “Seven Dwarfs: The Queen’s Return”

The little trailer doesn't give us too much info, but I mean, the Queen has returned...? Is this for Halloween? Has she become a zombie? Because I'm pretty sure she fell off a cliff and got crushed, right??!! Oh, Disney... Maybe it's a curse that has been reawakened or something and she's still dead, I really don't know. I just got an uneasy feeling when I just read the article! I guess the discovering pieces of the dwarfs' story is interesting...? And sequel/prequel-ish...?
I looked up the book series that this new book is from: http://www.quartoknows.com/SearchResult ... gone+wrongWhat makes this specific title of particular note, however, is the inclusion of Walt Disney’s daughter, the late Diane Disney Miller, as co-author. Not just for the fact that she was apparently involved in the series but that it incorporates elements from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, most notably that it was the Walt Disney Studios that actually named the dwarfs for the first time. Although there is no Angry in the film (though one could make an argument for Grumpy), the connections are quite clear.
