That trailer is much more better because it clearly shows why King Magnifico is “evil” (i.e. Asha telling her friends or Star the reason why they need to stop him) and I noticed that Asha says “We need to give back the wishes”, which is full confirmation that Asha doesn’t want to grant every wish in the kingdom, which is what everyone was thinking when they saw the official trailer last month, but instead give them back to the people. Reallygladthat’sallclearedup!

That, and it doesn’t have a butt joke in it the joke they put in with Valentino is miles better than that.

Good thing Disney smartly made that the final domestic trailer. Let’s hope it helps Wish be a hit, last-minute, like it helped Frozen last-minute, along with those early screenings on the weekend before its release.

#HappyHalloween from Walt Disney Animation Studios’ newest mascot character, #Star #TheWishingStar of Disney’s newest animated feature film called #Wish, arriving only in theaters November 22nd.

What do you guys think of the first attempt at a costume of Star The Wishing Star by me?

No one believed I could pull it off. But I never gave the doubters any attention. And I think I actually pulled it off very nicely, with all things considered.

My first impression when I heard the snippet wasn't too positive, but now that I've listened to the full song several times I like how cheerful it is. And I don't know much about music styles, but I'd say they draw some inspiration from Spanish or Latin music for this one, though maybe it's just the guitar sound. I expected it would be longer, though, and more of an ensemble song. I thought perhaps Asha's family or friends would sing in it too, but it's mostly sung by Asha, except a couple of lines by the tourists.

While it doesn seem like a song in Disney Junior, Elena of Avalor specifically, I do like how cheerful it is as well. It’s like a calm before the storm type of song where the people and Asha are blissfully happy that they’re living a lie until Asha finds out about the truth. I too also was surprised that the song is short I was thinking that it would be 4 minutes long like “The Family Madrigal” and I’m wasn’t shocked that the Teens and Asha’s family weren’t there with Asha during the musical number because in the junior novelization excerpt you posted D82, Asha’s family is back at the Hamlet and Dahila was at the royal kitchen with the Teens helping her out.
