Explain Your Avatar

[Escapay]

Mine rarely changes, as I've only had 3:

1. A freeze-frame from a 1989 episode of Another World, it featured Cass and Frankie at a baseball game. I used this to show how much I love soap operas.

2. Gus, from Cinderella. Felt like it.

3. Donald reading a book. Kram actually sent me an e-mail saying "HERE'S YOUR NEW AVATAR, AND YOU'RE GOING TO USE IT AND YOU'RE GOING TO ENJOY IT!"

Escapay (who, along with Kram, had been internet-less for the entire week because of some weird virus problems, and we had to reset our modem.)

Well its ummm, Mickey Mouse as the sorcers apprentice and this is a Disney site, and Fantasia is my favorite Disney movie. Besides Luke would probably get upset if i put pictures of nekid women up.

Mine changes whenever I feel like it or get sick of seeing it. Hmmm, so far I had...

1) A CGI Mickey
2) Cinderella Castle at WDW
3) Frontierland (Disneyland) logo with Cowboy Mickey (it was a Disney pin, which make great avatars b/c of their convenient sizes).
4) Goofy in scuba gear looking at a fish upsidedown (that is Goofy is upside down)*
5) Chef Mickey with a burger*
6) Kermit with Mickey Ears
7) Currently it is what you see now (unless I've changed it, which will most likely happen in a few weeks or months). I got the design from a Disney Visa Card Brochure and edited it with ArcSoft PhotoStudio. I replaced a happy family in a spinning teacup with Kermit b/c I love muppets too.

I'm not very good at deciding an avatar and I'm either not computer-literate enough or not interested enough to find my own avatar outside of the lovely ones Luke provides . I like Kramer and am waiting for Seinfeld Season DVDs.

Does anyone know where I can find some good "Wicked" avatars? Or is there any way to make them into jpg files or whatever to make them work here?

I've only been able to find bitmap or whatever...I'm not good with computer terms at all.

hehe they have alot of nice avtars here http://www.avatarity.com dat's where i get some of mine.. they have diffrent carigoris n they have a few disney avtars n some of actors/actress so yea..

Just changed my avatar. It is now Mickey and Pluto from The Three Musketeers looking puzzled I just love that picture It's from my Three Musketeers dvd and I added the logo myself

Okay, more technical questions:

1. How come if a google image says .jpg, when I save it, it becomes a bitmap image, and I can't use it?

2. How can I put a picture in the signature?

Hmmm. Perhaps the little "save file as" pop-up box on the save screen has .bmp selected? If it does, just change it to .jpg. If that's not it, I'm not sure.

2. How can I put a picture in the signature?

Just host the picture somewhere and use BBCode in your signature line. Example (spaces put in so I don't actually use the code):
