Explain Your Avatar
For those of you who have Avatars, why did you pick it? What does it mean to you? I've noticed that some of you have very interesting avatars. Why'd you pick it?
I picked mine, Lady from Lady and the Tramp because, A) it's one of my favorite disney movies, and I love dogs. When I got my dog, I wanted to name her Lady (or Princess), but then SHE turned out to be a HE...
I may be changing it later to a picture of my own pup, but for now, Lady it is.

Obviously, mine is an ever-changing picture of Amy Grant. She's my favorite singer and I do a lot of promotional work for her. For now, I've decided to do all of her album covers, in order, and I'm currently on her 2nd album cover, My Father's Eyes from 1979. It's one of my least favorite of her album covers, as it looks pretty girly, so I'll probably move on to the next one soon. I sometimes even get PMs from other members here who are also fans, which is always very exciting!
Interesting tidbit: This album cover* was lambasted by some in the Contemporary Christian Music audience at the time for being too seductive.
*(if you are reading this later and it's changed, here it is:

Or, in other words,
"The reason why my avatars are always Amy Grant. Is because I am a huge Amy Grant fan. I own all 20/20 of her albums. I own alot of memorbilia A BUnch of Amy Grant CD'S. I am an Amy Grant Addict."

My avatar is of the Mad Hatter and March Hare, two of my favorite Disney characters (with my favorite, the Hatter, in the foreground). I never change it because there aren't that many good Mad Hatter pics on the web and this to me is just too good to change. A friend of mine made it for me using two separate cliparts of the Hatter and Hare and spruced it up through PaintShop, making it look all dimensional and sparkly. I've been attached to it ever since and use it for practically everything.

I prefer voting for third parties, so this year, Gay Penguin has my vote!

They change quite frequently, but at the moment mine is one of Jon Pertwee, the Third Doctor (Who, that is).
I'm not sure what episode that is from, I just took a random image and made it into an avatar sized piccie.
I wish I could've found an animated one where he is rubbing the back of his neck, or one with some more cape work. That would have truly captured his Pertwinity.

Mine changes too, and will most likely go back to a Pete themed one again soon. But for now, its David Byrne from the Talking Heads music video "Road to Nowhere".
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I just chaged mine but for those who remember my previous one, I had a close-up of the picture on the Promotional Demo Tape Video for Hocus Pocus, my favourite movie ever! Its a closeup of Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy as 3 17th century witches. I might put it back later. Cool topic.
