1. The point of the orchestrations is that when it reaches the high point (near the end), the orchestrations get bigger and grander with the sound of the song. The more I see/hear it, the less im liking it...
1. The orchestration is very bland... They should have used the orchestration from the Disneyland Paris show. They should have made the song epic, since it's emotional level is way too high.
2. She doesn't build her castle till the bridge? I know that it's nice to have a character display their emotions, but is 30 seconds enough for her to build that castle?
3. Idina Menzel's singing voice is just not right for Elsa... They should have made Elsa look older to use Idina's voice.
But then again. my opinion might change from now till I see the movie.
My point in the second complaint is that.. it would have been nice to see the entire castle be built with intricate details.. Instead of 30 seconds. But you never know.. I agree, once we see the movie, it does get better, I felt that I See the Light from Tangled was an okay song untill I saw the movie and it was a beautiful sequence. I can't judge a Disney song in general when the visuals are the important key.
Oh, when it comes to the moment where Elsa creates her castle. Also, with Idina's voice.. Im sure that it'll change once the movie comes out. These songs work really well visually..

The first and second verse are perfect.. Maybe we could have used less "Let it go".... But honestly.. from the 3 current Disney movies, this one beats them by a long shot. Because there is so much raw emotion behind the song.
I do understand that criticism, but that was actually something I loved about Elsa. The voice and character design got across the point that Elsa is a serious, 21 year old queen, and one who has been holding back a lot. Also, keep in mind that the snippet you can see in the Kelly video is Elsa at her most childlike (besides when she's an actual child). She is giddy in that snippet because she is starting to realize she's free. So she makes a childlike face. I think you'll get over it after watching her in the movie. She has a more mature vibe that makes her seem older than her appearance (which could be any age from 18-30 really).
