And there are more business being sued because they won't implement Obamacare. There is something wrong with this and these people are brave enough to step forward and call Barry on it.

We need to defund Obamacare today!!!!
A think a history lesson is in order.

The origins of Social Security
A limited form of the Social Security program began, during President Franklin D. Roosevelt's first term, as a measure to implement "social insurance" during the Great Depression of the 1930s, when poverty rates among senior citizens exceeded 50 percent.[8] The Act was an attempt to limit what were seen as dangers in the modern American life, including old age, poverty, unemployment, and the burdens of widows and fatherless children.

Opponents, however, decried the proposal as socialism. In a Senate Finance Committee hearing, one Senator asked Secretary of Labor Frances Perkins, "Isn't this socialism?" She said that it was not, but he continued, "Isn't this a teeny-weeny bit of socialism?"[9]

The majority of women and minorities were excluded in the beginning from the benefits of unemployment insurance and old age pensions, as employment definitions reflected typical white male categories and patterns.[10]

The provisions of Social Security have been changing since the 1930s, shifting in response to economic worries as well as concerns over changing gender roles and the position of minorities. Officials have responded more to the concerns of women than those of minority groups.[11] Social Security gradually moved toward universal coverage. By 1950, debates moved away from which occupational groups should be included to how to provide more adequate coverage.[12] Changes in Social Security have reflected a balance between promoting equality and efforts to provide adequate protection.[13
The part in bold sounds like senators calling The Affordable Health Care Act is today (it's not dubbed Obama Care okay, Romney had his version of it too) Let's go a step further. Medicare and Medicaid was debated for 25 years until 1965 it finally got done. It was not a very popular thing and there were worries of it that resemble worries that people have of The Affordable Health Care Act.

The reason Insurance rates are going up is not because of The Affordable Health Care Act. The reason is because some health insurance companies are crooks, and insurance rates having been going up since the year 2000. As for doctors who say it's making it go up, they are dumb. I came from a doctor's office two years ago that said those things, and you want to know why I don't trust them? Because my doctor thought I didn't have Crohn's Disease and took me off my pills and even though I got worse, the doctor still stood to his delusional beliefs that I never had it and because of it I began losing weight rapidly in 2011 and my family realized I was dying. Thankfully a sleep doctor who came from out of town worked there and sent me to an authentic G I doctor, because my primary doctor refused to even do that. Shortly after seeing the GI Doctor in a town an hour away from me, I got a letter saying I was no longer welcome at the clinic based in my home town. I could still go see my doctor in another town, but even if they came to the clinic in town, I couldn't see them, I would have to drive an hour away to what could just be a 5 minute drive. I kept the GI Doctor and found a new primary who helped me and supported me a lot through my herniated disc. This new primary doctor is a godsend. The people at the place I used to go said Obama Care is causing all these changes and it's horrible.

So if I would have trusted the first doctor, I wouldn't be here typing this message to you. Yes you need to trust the doctor, however the doctor needs to trust you. Since when did a doctor become more than a learned and trusted friend? The Affordable Health Care Act let's kids stay on their parents insurance until age 26 even if they are in college and not disabled. Please tell me dvdjunkie how that is a bad and horrible thing? I want to work someday and if I go and buy insurance on my own, I would be turned down in a moment, and if I were excepted, they would not treat pre-existing conditions. I have many of those from my Inflammatory Bowel Disease, to my Asperger Syndrome, to my diabetes etc.

Let me share with you a story about my mom when she was born. When she was born she had a Uni Lateral Cleft Lip and Palate back in 1961. She was going to need a few major surgeries and her parents were thankful they had Blue Cross Blue Shield for Health Insurance. You would think they would cover the surgeries right? Well no they didn't. The insurance said they didn't cover birth defects within the first 24 hours of life. Her dad then decided to drop the insurance since you only have one appendix and if they weren't going to cover the big things, why keep paying them money. So they paid off the surgeries.

My point is, health insurance companies are crooked and exploit people, just like the Oil Companies who raise gas prices for any reason, like if Obama didn't pet is dog, gas prices go up.

Again, The Affordable Health Care Act let's kids stay on their parents insurance until age 26 even if they are in college and not disabled. Please tell me dvdjunkie how that is a bad and horrible thing? Are your adult children who are 26 or under on your health insurance plan? If so you have The Affordable Health Care Act to thank for it.

Also while we are posting links, read this one on how we are already seeing the benefits of The Affordable Health Care Act.

Also would you vote for Chris Christie to be President/? He's a guy I would vote for since he says what he thinks and doesn't dance around it like some politicians do

I am very sorry Michael that you are being led around by these different doctors. And I am very concerned about your current health status. A young man of 24 years of age (I think that is how old you are) and weighs close to 400 pounds is a health risk to most insurance companies. That you have Medicare and Medicaid is a good thing, but when the "Affordable" Health care act goes into force, all or most of that what you have is going away. Insurance rates will go up, and many companies will be forced to lay off or furlough people to keep from getting gouged by this new act.

Your information, while very stilted towards the 'looking at the world through rose-colored glasses' Democrat vision, you need to look at both sides of what is going to happen if this "train wreck" goes into force in January.

I am 73 years old, only have Social Security to provide any money that I need, so my spending is almost nil to what it was when I was working. I basically have been forced into retirement since Barry took office. I have been unable to find work because of my age and basically have resigned myself to be a retired energetic person over the age of 70.

All of my kids are grown and have their own forms of insurance, but none of my kids are obese, or even overweight for that matter. Even all 10 of my grand children, who range in ages 14 to 5 years of age are healthy and doing well. One of my grand kids has spinal bifeta and will be wheel chair bound for the rest of his life, but anyone who thinks he has a handicap better look again. He is six years old, and nothing stops him from doing what he wants to do, and this year at the Special Olympics, he won his class in the Wheel Chair Olympics.

We have a 'wannabe dictator' for a president today, and through his eyes he is doing nothing wrong. With more than nine scandals over his head, he tries to make us look the other way by offering some lame excuse as to why the "economy" is not rebounding the way it should. His solution is to authorize the printing of more money, and this is very stupid, on his part.

I wish that he would come forward with the truth about all these things that are driving me away from the Democratic party. I want to know why a campaign-raising dinner was more important than that night of terror in Benghazi, I want to know why he is allowing the IRS to handle The Affordable Health Care program, after all the wire-tapping scandals that have come forth? Why does Eric Holder still have a job? Why is Hilary Clinton even in the picture any more?

I am sorry about your health conditions, that prevent you from being a star at what you do. From all that I read about you and what little I know about you, I think you are a well-adjusted, well-meaning person who is truly concerned about your future. With that said, you need to look into what this despot of a 'ruler' we have, and what he is going to do with Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and all that we know about today. Don't be afraid to look at conservative views, and compare to your liberal views. Chris Christie is one of the most two-faced people in politics today. One day he slams Barry for something he has said or done, and the next day you see him walking through New Jersey checking the Sandy destruction and how Barry can help him with some more money to rebuild. I used to really like Christie until he basically changed parties.

I have a much better doctor right now, and even if I wasn't overweight, I'd still have a hard time getting insurance given my Crohn's Disease. Also let's say I was 150 pounds, I could get insurance however either way they won't cover pre existing conditions. Do you realize that? Most insurances will not cover pre existing conditions and not just because of my weight. Also I'm currently at 346. It seems I've lost 50 pounds since April. And you're close about my age, I'm 26. Wuehen I was 16 my mom pulled me out of High School to home school me to train me how to deal with insurances and focus on social skills that are big challenges for people with Asperger Syndrome. Because of that, I've learned empathy something Aspie's don't always have. Also this NSA spying thing, this was happening when Bush was in office, so I don't understand why so many in the republican party are upset.

Currently I have best dang primary doctor I've ever had as an adult right now.

Also I loved Obama's speech the other day regarding Trayvon Martin. Even my girlfriend who isn't a big fan of Obama clapped.

I like Chris Christie because he's not afraid to speak his mind. He calls it like he sees it. If it is him vs Hilary Clinton, I'll have a tough time deciding who.

Also you failed to answer my question in my previous post
Again, The Affordable Health Care Act let's kids stay on their parents insurance until age 26 even if they are in college and not disabled. Please tell me dvdjunkie how that is a bad and horrible thing?
Also I really find it frustrating when people go off saying Obama faked his birth certificate. The garbage that Donald Trump has said makes me very disappointed in him, because he is so intelligent, but intelligence doesn't always make smart. Also apparently when all that weather was going on, some politician or reporter said that Obama has a weather weapon. Please tell me you don't think that Obama has a weather weapon.

Again Michael I urge you to get both sides of the story before choosing sides. You are sounding like the broken record that was in pre-election thread back in 2012.

This health care act is a 'train wreck' in disguise. Who do you think is going to pay for it? We the taxpayers, or your parents will. In 2008 Obummer said that it would not impact anyone's current medical costs or coverage, and now he is saying that it is. He has put a hold on its mandates while a committee from the IRS (??) is looking into it. Why is the IRS involved in a health care project like this one? I don't really know, but it smells pretty fishy.

As far as insurance for kids living at home until they are 26 or disabled, I have no problem with that except by the time I was 26 I in the military and had a wife and two kids. According to the health care provisions as they were written, pre-existing illnesses such as Crohn's, Diabetes, and Kidney failure will be allowed with certain restrictions, when this is allowed, if it allowed to pass.

Now here's something for you to comment on. You have been avoiding this and I will put it to you this way:

https://www.facebook.com/StartImpeachmentNow

Eric Holder, Barry, and all their cronies should be impeached as a body, and then tried and convicted and sent to Leavenworth for the rest of their lives. Had there been a Republican in the White House and all this occurred, it would have been done a long time ago.

Don't give the "Bush" crap, he hasn't been President for over almost six years now. This is all on Barry's head and he doesn't know which way to turn. That $100 million dollar tax-payer paid vacation to Africa was part of his plan to cover-up the newly found truth about where he was born, so a lot of our tax dollars went into that. Now he is taking another tax-payer funded vacation to Camp David and all he can do is smile.

If you thought his speech was good Wednesday, then you are being led around by some of the wrong people. I am not saying that you are wrong for being of a liberal mind, but you still haven't offered me as reasons why I shouldn't be concerned when I hear about the 14 plus countries that will not honor our dollar as currency. Something needs to be changed in Washington, and the only way we can change it, is do a clean sweep of Washington and start over.

There should be term limits on every political office, not just the President. There should be no vacation or no pay when there is not a balanced budget in place. We haven't had one of those since Oblameless took office in 2008. The big recession that occurred in 2008 cost me $80,000 dollars that I will never see again. That was my money to live on when I decided to retire. Now I have nothing.

Let's face it, this country is a world of trouble, and there isn't any liberal-minded person out there who will come forward and admit that it was a mistake to re-elect this bozo. The most laughable quote from his first campaign, that he has never followed: "I will conduct the most transparent Presidency in history!!" Just another of his lies. Look at all the things that have happened and are happening on his watch and tell me you can sleep at night. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine to help me sleep, so I do get the sleep I need, but these conditions in the country don't solve themselves.

Other countries have not accepted our dollar before Obama was president. That kinda happened with Bush.

Impeach Obama is a dumb idea. First off he didn't fake his birth certificate. I'm hoping you don't believe that Obama has a weather weapon.ush started a war with a country that didn't attack us. Saddam Hussein wasn't a saint, but he didn't conspire with Bin Laden and he had no weapons of mass destruction. I somewhat disagree with Clinton being impeached because he was a great president politician wise, but he screwed up (no intended) his personal life. When he left office we were in a surplus in the federal budget. Bush sent us to a war we didn't need and couldn't afford and now we are negative. Also people keep blaming Obama for bailing out Wall Street when it wasn't true. It was Bush who did that. When Matt Lauer interviewed Bush, he asked him what he thought about half of Americans think that Obama bailed out Wall Street. He said well then that half is wrong. I think Bush had done for worse things than Obama. Has Obama got us into another war? No. Has he pulled out of Iraq? Yes. Did he get Bin Laden? Yes. Is he ending the war in Afghanistan? Yes. Did he get make headway on Gay Marriage? Yes. Hopefully there will be an immigration reform since this country is based on immigrants.

I can't believe people want to impeach Obama after all the achievements he has done. He's had some set backs but overall he's done good and got a lot accomplished. Including The Affordable Healthcare Act which you don't like but I'll agree to disagree on that one

Also I know people are upset about the whole NSA spying stuff, but I find it silly that republicans are upset when it was Bush who started it.

In my opinion Obama's speech about Trayvon Martin was amazing and very very true. His speech about a woman clutching her purse when a black man walks into the elevator is true. I've put the locks on my door when driving through East Saint Louis IL which is something I"m not proud of. Also his speech didn't just apply to black people. It applied to disabled people, disfigured, young looking people with baggy pants, fat people, odd looking people, old people etc

When you are ready to quit looking at the world through rose-colored glasses and writing thoughts of your own and not copied from some useless Liberal magazine I will respond to those things that you have repeated over and over. Obummer IS the worst president we have ever had. There are so many things that have happened on his watch that any other person would have been jailed, I think you better take a look at what you are saying and not knowing what it is you're saying.

All of your replies have been typical replies of someone who hasn't looked at both sides of the story before giving your opinion.

Someone your age should be able to think however he wants to think without being told what to think by adults in his circle. When all the dust clears after all of this crap goes down, I don't want to be the one to tell you "I told you so".

Wake up, and smell the roses. Our country is being taken down to its knees by a Muslim despot, who would hate for anyone, including you or me, to find out where he was legally born, and why he lost control of Chicago.

And you never told me why Barry hasn't conducted one thing in his administration that was "transparent" as he promised us in 2008. Michael it is time to read and listen to other newspapers and television stations besides those of the liberal side of things and see what is going to cost your parents and maybe even you the great medical care you now have. It's coming, and you need to ask your Congressman and Senators what will happen if they don't de-fund The Health Reform act that Obummer is trying to foist on the American public. It will cost you and I a lot more money than he said it would and that is a fact that even the liberals will say is happening.

I don't really have a circle I listen to, nor do I watch any of the news networks a lot (MSNBC, FOX NEWS, CNN)

Also the way you talk, I feel like you are someone who hasn't seen both sides the way you talk either. Also you won't address, Also you won't respond until I write my own thoughts??? These are my own thoughts, I don't read political magazines. I've looked at both sides, and the impeach Obama is not I side I want to be in. It's sad to see so many smart Americans say that Obama wasn't born in this country. You won't even acknowledge the great things Obama has done, like got Bin Laden. Ended the War in Iraq, made huge headway of Gay Marriage, ending the war in Afghanistan, bailed out the auto industry and they paid the government back. You are so blind with your conspiracy theories and hate for Obama, you refuse to acknowledge the great things he has done. I hate that he's done all these great things, and people think he's worse than Richard Nixon. Basically your saying you won't comment on the other stuff until I think like you. I'm beginning to see why I hated debating against you during the 2012 saying that I'm being led by my peers. I don't have many peers at all. I don't hang around people my age and I don't have many friends and the friends I do have I don't talk politics because of this because up here it's clan land which I had the KKK with a passion.

For once I thought we could agree to disagree about the healthcare and have a nice friendly debate over the other things and at least admit Obama has done some great things while being president. Obama didn't bail out Wall Street, that was Bush. I think someone is in denial and I'm done talking about this to you until you answer my other questions. These are my own thoughts, and I don't have rose colored glasses. I can't believe I thought you and I could have a friendly debate. My Mistake. I'm Done.
