Chances are it was just some guy who have seen the video by the Rotoscopers and the speculations on this forum and is presenting his own speculation as the sypnosis of the film. I think Wikipedia is a good site but it can be edited by anyone and especially in the case of things that are yet to be released, there is bound to be lots of false info as overexcited fans or trolls add stuff to the page wantonly. I've also been tempted in the past to edit the Frozen page with my own concocted sypnosis and see how far it spreads.Edthehyena wrote:Edthehyena wrote:The most BIZARRE sum up ever has just appeared on wikipedia, look ! (SPOILERS ????? MAYBE, but i hope it's just crap)

Please, someone, Prince Kido or anyone tells us it's not true, juste fake speculations ( concerning what they say at the end of the plot !!!! )
SO strange : surprisingly enough, that weird mention about a strange love triangle has just been removed from wikipedia...

Well, i'd like to have a glance at your " own concocted sypnosis ".
PS : The problem is, for all of us, the wait has never been so long, so dry, so difficult; it paves the way for creating unofficial silly speculations, and for searching something, anything to soothe our yearning. Even unofficial silly speculations... Well, maybe not that silly after all

Re: Frozen: Part III
I don't want to be negative or anything, but the things we have seen so far look exactly like the style of the Rapunzel/Tangled concept art (which looked promising too), but in the end it looked nothing like the actual film.
I have no doubt the backgrounds will look nice just like any other CGI film out there, but what about the way they are animating the characters? Will it still be the same old tangled/wreck it ralph style? Or are they going into a new direction with this film?

Have you not heard? To speed up the production to get it ready, it's gonna be all Zemeckis-style mo-cap!Marky_198 wrote:Or are they going into a new direction with this film?

Joking aside, it will be fairly standard CG akin to Tangled or Wreck it Ralph. We would have heard if it were in any style other than that, and the early presentation reel that surfaced did indeed include a small clip of footage from the film.

If it's true that Mark Henn is drawing over animator's shots, it will be similar to Glen Keane's work on Tangled, so yeah, the style will be definetly that way.
But that's not a problem (at least for me) at all, and leaving behind the fact that it's CGI and not 2D, but... well, that's the way it is

Not surprised, stupid snow man looks stupid. (Really hope this isn't a return to the loudmouth sidekicks from the '90s...) Not feeling any of the character designs we've been given.
Btw, that second image should be kept hidden for spoilers!!! The snow covering the kingdom melts!
Anyone expecting them to steal B&tB's ending again, a la Tangled, even with the castle returning to normal?

I hadn't even noticed that. It's odd that Disney would publish such an image on one of its official Facebook pages.Disney's Divinity wrote:Btw, that second image should be kept hidden for spoilers!!!
Me neither. I'm actually very disappointed with the character designs. Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Olaf; they're all very generic and unimaginative.Disney's Divinity wrote:Not feeling any of the character designs we've been given.
Probably. Tangled blatantly copied a lot of elements from previous Disney films. Frozen will likely continue that 'tradition'.Disney's Divinity wrote:Anyone expecting them to steal B&tB's ending again, a la Tangled, even with the castle returning to normal?

Re: Frozen: Part III
I am mostly disappointed in Elsa's design. She doesn't look cold and regal at all imo. She looks too cutesy. But since she is going to be in the princess franchise they probably did it on purpose. I kind of like Anna's look mostly her dress and cloak. She does look ALOT like Rapunzel but Ariel/Belle/Jasmine all look pretty similar. Kristoff looks ok but I am having a hard time imaging my sweetie Groffles voicing a big, bad mountain man. And the snowman.....yeah I hope they aren't trying to return to the scene stealing, loud mouthed sidekick. I thought Tangled got it right by having the cute animal sidekicks silent.

I don't think any of those three look alike. Especially not Jasmine.Jay wrote:but Ariel/Belle/Jasmine all look pretty similar.

When I heard I was gonna animate one of these characters I was pretty excited... I've had a rough time doing this shot. #1 They are human characters, so I felt a level of complexity had to be there, but it's not always easy to execute. #2 It was hard for me to find a way to connect with the line I ended up getting. I understood it, but I didn't quite connect with it (if that makes sense). I had my heart set on animating something else, so that could have played a factor in my lack of connection, I don't know. I'm getting through it, and throughout this shot I've learned a lot of things.
Re: Frozen: Part III
This latest pic of Anna looks less like Rapunzel, which is encouraging. I actually think she almost looks Asian in that pic. Elsa does look pixiesh but I'm ok with her design. I think part of that is her impish smile; she'll probably look more regal without that smile At least she doesn't look like anyone who's come before. And maybe she'll look different in other pics too. I don't think Ariel/Belle/Jasmine look alike at all. They're designed with the same big eyed style but their eyes, mouth, and nose shapes are totally different.

I agree. If they aren't playing a sizable role, I prefer them to be silent/mostly silent.I thought Tangled got it right by having the cute animal sidekicks silent.
