Robert Lopez just Tweeted something I think you'll all get a kick out of:

Well, that's .... vague. Is he referring to the concept art we've all seen already?

It's a joke about the giant snowstorm that's hit (and still falling) the Northeast. All that snow is making New York and nearby look like scenes from Frozen.

Yeah living in it right now. The snow storm. Mother Nature just fucking hate us northeasterners.

I only just read about the snowstorm. Silly me.

That explains his other tweet about Nemo coming to Broadway.

Which rumour?

Wish I could see and touch snow one day. Then I'd throw my first snowball.

As a Canadian, I can confirm that the rumor is true. It is "frozen" here, and judging by the news so is the east coast. :D

I mean, Walt Disney is frozen and it's not true.

 Well, no need to get mad about that!

Also, I'm pretty sure that guy who wrote that maybe Walt will make a cameo was joking. It's a good joke, really.

You really are clueless aren't you? He's referring to the super snow storm up in northeast. The other tweeter was joking adding in Walt is frozen ordeal. You need better reading comprehension skills.

:pink: :pink: Thank you SOOO much for posting the link!!! Even that little clip of the song is beyond catchy and is such an ear-worm! I love it!

I wonder if Alan Menken's music is any inspiration to the songwriters, though? I mean, I liked the music in Winnie the Pooh...for a big Disney fairy tale, we'd think of Alan Menken, so I just wonder if they're thinking at all, "What would Alan Menken do?"... Not that a songwriter would purposefully copy another's style...but it must be a lot of pressure to do a Disney fairy tale soundtrack...? I guess what I'm really trying to get at is there's typically a "Disney fairy tale" type soundtrack that is "expected" of a Disney fairy tale, if that makes sense...? I mean, Tangled was Alan Menken and it broke away from the mold a bit.

Interesting...

All i know is that a twiter from Bobby Lopez page has been posted here lately, where he was saying explicitly that Alan was inspiring them...

And all i know is that Tangled score (not speaking about the songs) was not sounding at all like Menken but quite like a very common adventure average movie soundtrack... i listened to the complete Tangled score on youtube and, boy, it was so boring and classical !!! Where have catchy pieces of work like "market place" "the kiss" "on a dark night" "destruction of the grotto", "west wing" "river edge", gone ? Even "Mirror, Mirror" score was more inspired and rich of original, moving, identified and recurring themes...

If not dolls by Mattel, what other merchandise was shown, I wonder...? T-shirts and cups and things from the Disney Store? Plastic-figure playsets? Books?

Mattel should manufacture unmeltable snowballs and sell them off as official Frozen merchandise.

Mattel should be focusing on building that hover board by 2015, instead of making crap for Frozen.
