Toky wrote:Hope those posters are fake :( it looks horrible, at least the animation does.....and Elsa's design looks weird, like she just stepped out of Rise of the guardians
There is no animation on a still image poster.

I'm certainly guessing those are legit, nice find! Elsa looks interesting. Not sure about them yet.

These are legit. They look like what the Rotoscopers were describing.

They look terrible. Elsa's like some bastardization of Marc Davis's Snow Queen for the unbuilt Magic Kingdom ride.

Indeed. Oh, look! It's Rapunzel's twin sister who has a stupid smirk on her face, and the love child of Jack Frost and Periwinkle.

Oh for god's sakes we go through this every time a new character pops up. It happened with Rapunzel, it happened with Ralph. It's not nearly as bad as everyone's about to jump on the bandwagon and say they are. And they will probably become more appealing the more we see of them. I admit that Anna is kinda plain, but I think that's the point. Elsa looks great the more I look at her.

Elsa looks like she could fit in with Tinkerbell in the Disney Fairies franchise. Loving the back of the dress, however.

Anna...is Rapunzel 2.0. Honestly, is that really a surprise? When you have a character that's so popular with little girls and other demographics a company who cares mostly about money is going to want to try to mimic said character's design once again. I personally love Rapunzel's design, so that's no big deal for me, but you're all going to complain about it anyway. Her freckles and blemishes are more obvious than Rapunzel's though, and that's awesome.

We don't even know how final these designs are anyway. The first shot of Rapunzel we got looked pretty different from her current design.

She looks adorable but it's startling how similar her design is to Rapunzel! Not sure how I feel about Isla, will hold out till we get more images :)

I wonder whether this is going to be her signature dress or whether she will have a more "princessey" gown for when she joins the other Princesses, even if its only for a minute in the actual film (ala Tiana and her green gown)
I love The Little Mermaid and Ariel

Sooo, any new news on Big Hero 6 Sotiris
All kidding aside, WOW, I didn't expect images like these this early! Where these images officialy released by Disney, or did they leak? I see they are from the Argentine news site Cine 1, they released hi-res posters of WIR characters last june, but that was after the trailer came out. As for the character designs, yes they look a little odd now cause we just seen them in complete form, but given a few days, weeks, I think people will love these character's design. Tangled went through this same thing, remember when the 1st trailer leaked, the Pink & Miley Cyrus songs, Flynn fighting with Rapunzel's hair, people where saying it was another Dreamworks-Shrek knock-off. Same for WIR last year, people were complaining about the video-game cameos & that they were just there to sell the movie. Frozen is just taking it's first look lumps, we need some time to absorb everything we've seen today.

So sorry to burst your bubbles, but...they're fake:
Photos removed at the request of Disney, as it was actually fake artwork "made from old character designs" and does not truly represent the film. Sorry!

And thank goodness! The animation was horrible-looking and Anna looked REALLY weird and awkward.

These are definitely not fake and they're not "made from old character designs". It's just an excuse Disney gave so the websites will remove the images. People are so gullible. Can't they see that Anna's design in that poster is the same as the concept art Disney released? Also, Elsa's design fits the description The Rotoscopers gave which was based on a recent concept image of her.

These are probably just early renderings of the characters that Disney sent to licencing companies as style guides for merchandising purposes. But the designs are the same.

The Rotoscopers have confirmed those are the images they saw. They're supposed to be legit right?

The hair texture looks kind of strange, but other than that they'd be very detailed and well made for fan art.
