now to get back on topic...
I'm going to need to read up on who the villain is for The Snow Queen/Frozen. I've been kinda lazy in following this story. I do think the name change is extremely stupid. But at this point all the complaining in the world won't change it so I digress.
I hope the villain is much more like Jafar or Ursula than Gothel.
Also when does this come out. I've been very slow at reading this news, so I'll probably look at the info in this thread later.
EDIT so I don't have to through hundreds of pages, could someone post a synopsis update of Frozen and the differ characters including the villain?
Basically, the story revolves around two princesses, Anna and Elsa. Elsa has the power to control ice which troubles her due to the existence of a prophecy that there will emerge a ruler with a frozen heart. One day, Elsa inadvertently unleashes her powers, plunging the realm into winter. She then flees and barricades herself somewhere else. Anna, with the help of a man named Kristoff goes to find her.
Also involved are a snowman named Olaf, a reindeer named Sven and a prince named Hans though we have next to no information about either of them.
Elsa, The Snow Queen, will probably be serving as the 'villain'.
And yes, Frozen is taking significant liberties with the source material. The Snow Queen here is not exactly meant to be the same as The Snow Queen in the original fairy tale, from the info given, she seems to be taking the role of Kai. Anna is of course taking the role of Gerda.
