I think the first one had amazing visuals, music and a great cast. The story was a little so-so. I hope that the next one will have a better script, and I hope that the White Queen will be a part of it and that we will get to see more of her than we did in the first movie.

Even though there were many, many things wrong with the first one, I’m still kind of excited for this. I hope the Red Queen/Helena Bonham Carter will have some kind of role or cameo.
There was never any doubt this was going to happen, so might as well look on the bright side--more visuals.

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

This will be interesting. I will reserve final judgment until I see the final product.

Of course they are. Everyone knows how crazy for franchises Bob Iger is!

Probably drawing more on the characters from "Through the Looking Glass" (the second Alice book).SWillie! wrote:I'm not at all familiar with Lewis Carroll's original versions... is there more material they could cover with a sequel? Or will it be an original story?
Even though the movie itself isn't all that great, I'll still be happy to see this.

I've always sorta consider that too. Ain't that a coincidence?DisneyJedi wrote:1) I've always considered the first film to technically be a sequel to the 1951 Disney movie.
As for a sequel, BAD idea (and I'm a guy who wants a Roger Rabbit sequel)! If however it's based on Alice Through The Looking Glass as Cordy_Biddle suggested, then maybe.
