Dear Secret Santa,
I had a fairly uneventful day. It was my last day of Teaching & Learning A, and in the Practicum section, we had to write a final assessment. During the Lecture session, we had to create some assessment questions for the book The Skin I'm In. Then, I went to Target to buy some 12V batteries since my garage door opener went bust (leaving me locked out of the house since I don't have one of the keys for the front door), after which I bought some Chick-Fil-A for a late lunch/early dinner (mashed potatoes not included). Luckily, even though I bought the batteries, my dad arrived home just as I did, so he was able to open the garage anyway. He also got the mail. And I got...
BILLS! Bills, bills, bills! Slightly lower electric bills because we put up less Christmas lights than last year, slightly lower college tuition bills because I'm taking less classes next semester, very lower credit card bills because I've sworn off the stuff, and as always, those lovable long-distance phone bills to Prague. Yeah, yeah, we could always do Skype or something. But what would this joke be without a "phone calls to Prague" every once in awhile? One of these days I'll actually go there and see if it's as wonderful as I imagined.
Actually, in addition to the bills, I also got a package from Canada, eh. Needless to say, it was from my Secret Santa....
JIMINYCRICK91
Among the gifts he gave me were:
-A Christmas card with an adorable image of Mickey Mouse holding presents
-A "Doctor Who" comic book reprinted by Marvel
-Muppets From Space Blu-Ray+DVD Combo Pack
-"A Muppets Christmas: Letters to Santa" DVD
Thank you so much, Skyler!!!

Your Secret Cindy Lou Who,
Albert

Well, I went to get the mail, and there was a Mickey Mouse USPS Package left at the door.
And in it I found some very generous items, with one theme, Green.
In it was
Muppets Take Manhattan Blu ray Combo
Green Lantern Blu Ray combo
A Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie DVD
A very nice tote from the Disney Story with the Muppets on it
A star wars Mad Lib game,
And A wonderful postcard featuring Mickey Mouse...
and thank you Aaron (AwallaceUNC) for everything. This was quite a surprise of the stuff in it, and I'm very grateful for them and your kindness. I saw The New Muppet movie Tuesday, though I was worn out and fell asleep about 10 minutes into it (one of the worship ministers at our church would probably consider it a sin. So I'm going right now to see it, I've Drank some Mountain Dew and here we go

Yay! I'm so glad you got it, Michael, and especially before you leave town! I hope you enjoy everything.
I'm watching the new widescreen edition of IAVMMCM now (having previously only owned the original fullscreen DVD) and it looks great. (Even if the movie's not the best.) Happy watching!
And speaking of happy watching and The Muppets... yay for going back to see it! I hope you stay awake this time (lol) and love it as much as I have!
MERRY CHRISTMAS

I stayed awake this time....Mountain Dew works....although I try to avoid caffeine 80 percent of the time. Also I loved the movie. It was good. The music and songs were very catchy and good. I'm gonna have to see if I can get the Soundtrack as an xmas present from my in-laws....though I'm happy just being there.AwallaceUNC wrote:Yay! I got home from work today to find a small brown package from Amazon. Thinking (actually knowing) it might be my Secret Santa gift, I opened it to find a red wrapped gift with a note attached to it. The note was from none other than my Secret Santa telling me that a card will be mailed to me later revealing his/her name.
Anyways, I just wanted to thank my (currently) anonymous Secret Santa for the great gift. He/She sent me The Complete Peanuts: 1950-1952, which was actually a nice change of pace from the usual DVD. I promise I will get started on reading it when I find the time (I am sort of in the middle of studying for my final exam right now).
Thanks again and Merry Christmas!

I received a gift from my Secret Santa, disneyboy20022! My mom talked me into waiting till Christmas day to see what's in the package. That is so I'd have a surprise to look forward to. I know everything else I'm getting for Christmas because my mom doesn't know what to get me so I have pick out things for her to get me. I told my mom I needed the sender's name from the package so I could report who my Secret Santa is. Thank you, disneyboy20022! I look forward to seeing what you sent me. I hope you have fun on your trip!
Merry Christmas!

I'm pleased to report that for the second year in a row, zackisthewalrus is my Secret Santa!
He gave me Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: Level Up! Collector's Edition Blu-ray + DVD Combo and a very lovely
"Peanuts" Christmas card. Here is a picture:

Thanks so much, Zack! I really like this movie so I'm very happy to own it now! And on Blu-ray! It's funny because I got this on the same day that I watched the Blu-ray you got me last year! It's also funny that my Secret Cindy-Lou Who this year was also my SC-LW two years ago. It's a year of repeats, and awesome ones at that!
Merry Christmas, Zack!
