Dear Secret Santa,
I had a fairly uneventful day. It was my last day of Teaching & Learning A, and in the Practicum section, we had to write a final assessment. During the Lecture session, we had to create some assessment questions for the book
The Skin I'm In. Then, I went to Target to buy some 12V batteries since my garage door opener went bust (leaving me locked out of the house since I don't have one of the keys for the front door), after which I bought some Chick-Fil-A for a late lunch/early dinner (mashed potatoes not included). Luckily, even though I bought the batteries, my dad arrived home just as I did, so he was able to open the garage anyway. He also got the mail. And I got...
BILLS! Bills, bills, bills! Slightly lower electric bills because we put up less Christmas lights than last year, slightly lower college tuition bills because I'm taking less classes next semester, very lower credit card bills because I've sworn off the stuff, and as always, those lovable long-distance phone bills to Prague. Yeah, yeah, we could always do Skype or something. But what would this joke be without a "phone calls to Prague" every once in awhile? One of these days I'll actually go there and see if it's as wonderful as I imagined.
Actually, in addition to the bills, I also got a package from Canada, eh. Needless to say, it was from my Secret Santa....
