Prep & Landing
I havent seen this, but I've read up on it, and it looks like a really cute piece for Disney....
I'd love to see it on DVD/BD and I'm sure Disney will at least think to tie it into A Christmas Carol's release, either as a bonus feature or a standalone/bonus DVD. If not maybe we will see it on the DVD Fantasia World, the new DVD out the end of this year with other recent Disney shorts/featurettes, aka Tick Tock Tale and How To Hook Up Your Home Theater??? Hopefully they consider these options, or they'll otherwise wait until they make more Prep and Landing shorts in the coming years

That would make sense, but we probably would have heard about it by now.James wrote:I'd love to see it on DVD/BD and I'm sure Disney will at least think to tie it into A Christmas Carol's release, either as a bonus feature or a standalone/bonus DVD.
Good to see you posting again, James!

Prep & Landing just won the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Animated Program, beating the likes of The Simpsons and South Park:

I hope they make a feature film, to be perfectly honest. Animated, of course.

I think a Prep and Landing feature would be a great idea, too. I've read somewhere that they may be planning on kind of the same deal as The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and combining multiple featurettes.Margos wrote:I hope they make a feature film, to be perfectly honest. But in general I hope they continue with shorts and featurettes with both old and new characters.

darn it, I was out of town and forgot about the short for this year! I wonder if Disney Channel would ever air it....
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.
