Not sure, it bugs the crap out of me too because it means its not stable, always falls forward for me.

but the whole stand is crap anyway, it damages Woody's neck leaving dents. it wasn't even originally made for the TSC Woody, but a room guard. that's right, they just recycled an existing stand they already made years back.

By the way, its been determined in TSC discussions elsewhere that Bullseye is about an inch er so too big. :(
Woody cant reach the stirrups, which he should be able to, as should Buzz, and he's even shorter. I'm really kinda bummed because outside of scale he's otherwise pretty prefect.

I might do what you did, Kyle, and just get a better stand for Woody (and Jessie) because I noticed that Woody was getting dents in his neck. Either that or I'll just have them sit down.

I hope Thinkway makes a proper-scaled Stretch, that was an awesome character and the Mattel one is just not good enough lol. And for Bonnie's toys I'd be fine if, like, Disney Store just had plushes (in-scale) of Dolly, Buttercup, Mr. Pricklepants, and the Peas in a Pod all made of the right materials. Thinkway should do an in-scale Trixie though. A TSC version would be good but I mean just as long as she's in-scale, a non-TSC version (ala Twitch, Chunk, and Sparks) would be fine.
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

I have to say, I LOVE my Bullseye. I love his neighing, galloping and the song he plays when you press his button twice! I have the old bullseye from before, but the only thing he lacks is his wooden (or at least plastic) feet.

After collecting Bullseye and Woody, I am now on the lookout for Hamm. I should have bought him when I saw him a few months ago! :(

I played the Toy Story 3 teaser trailer and paused at the part where Andy holds Woody. I'm only 2 years older than him so I checked if my hands were proportional to Woody as Andy is to his and they are. So I think Bullseye is just a tad bit too tall and a bit too big. He's very difficult to hold and play with unlike Andy in Toy Story 2 (at the end) when he plays with Bullseye and is able to hold him with one hand!

I do think he's about an inch too large, but you cant really go on anyone's hands, people of all ages have different sized hands.

Yeah, I probably have smaller hands than Andy cause I'm asian and he's white.

So Woody's chin does not go quite as down to the bottom of Bullseyes' nostrils as it does in the film. So it is a little off. Maybe they got tired of measuring so much!

Btw Kyle, is it a coincidence you are wearing a blue dress shirt kind of like Andy is doing in the film?

Nope. haha

and actually that's the best comparison shot I think Ive seen so far. Good work. Hate that only further proves he's off scale though. I hate being right in this case.

Someone on pixarplanet made this observation.

Sumori wrote:I don´t have my bullseye jet. But as i can see he is on scale.... see those pic from the comic...

Bullseye have to be taller than Rex. Even when its legs are bent.... and if you see the pic, when Woody is sit over Bullseye his legs are longer than should be.. and there are twisted in a impossible way at the real world.
this makes me feel better about his scale.

Well... still no Toy Story Collection Bullseye, but I finally bought Lotso today. I actually like him a lot and I love the strawberry scent! But I dunno, I feel like he should be a bit bigger, I'm not positive though.

Not sure why there is a debate on Bullseye? He's EXACTLY movie scale.

Just because someone made an "observation" comparing too images out of scale, doesnt make it a fact.

Lets get with it folks.

Dont believe everything you casually glance at on the net.

A TSC that IS out of Scale is Lotso. He is horrible. I wouldnt even get it to take patterns off of, its ALL wrong. Every single thing on him is wrong.

I like how you just come in and stomp on all our information, calling it all irrelevant. Then you talk about Lotso and how he is out of proportion and what not with no data at all.

Glance? HAHA. What a joke. Who knows how long I've looked at those screencaps from the movies. I'm too into all of this to just give a little GLANCE.

^^^ Whoa that's really cool! Thinkway REALLY needs to make one in the Toy Story Collection!

yup. I saw that one in the 90s in my Disney store believe it or not. They were only sold in Japan for the most part but I guess mine imported some. their and are super rare now. they typically go for around 60.

Im fairly confident we'll get a thinkway one though. I cant see them making only 3 of the roundup gang.

Tyler, the Bullseye being out of scale thing isnt from just a glance, I mean, I own the thing. The fact is Woody nor Buzz can reach the stirrups, where as they could in the movie. There was a good reason for us to think he was out of scale.

I agree that I think we'll get a Thinkway one, though it annoys me that it will say "Toy Story" on the packaging, as this one does not. Stinky Pete is the one I most likely will keep in the packaging.

picked up 2 buckets o soldiers today... one to open and one to keep mint. is there a trick to getting the parachute ones to actually fly? we took them outside and spent a while throwing them and mostly they would hit the ground without the chute even opening.

ive got plans of hanging those two from my ceiling... just gotta figure out how. lol.

Man, won't that guy in the auction be frustrated if they do make a TSC Stinky Pete. All his claims about them never making one in the US would then be false, and he'd have no chance of selling it for $1000 like he wants to.

I'd be shocked if he actually got that much for it. it is worth a lot, but not 1000.

anyway, got my custom eyes yesterday.

much better!! finally a spud that looks like he should!!

picked up my buzz and woody cutouts today, after a week of waiting for the sale to end. buzz is huge... i only come up to his chin. woody is shorter.

Image

Image

they fold in half at the waist, which is good. they have writing down the bottom, including #29 and #30. does this mean there are others from the cutouts range?

i also caved in and got the barbie loves buzz doll.
