Mrs. Potato Head would be an obvious and easy choice. I mean, she's got a pretty big part in the third movie, and really they'd just have to make some new parts and a new voice for the existing Potato Head body. But yeah I'm very interested to see what's in store for the future of the Toy Story Collection.

I expect to see Mrs. Potato Head and Stinky Pete, both of which I would likely get right away if I have a job by then, ha. I think the odds are kinda good that they might do Zurg, but beyond that I couldn't begin to guess. If and when they made Zurg, by then hopefully I'd be able to get a Lotso too. If I could vote, I would probably vote for Bo Peep first, but I know that would be an unlikely one. After that, Mrs. Potato Head, then Stinky Pete (whom I would actually keep in the box). Any of the others would be good though. Would love Zurg, and would also really love Lenny (wouldn't have to be TSC, just a proper scale wind up would be nice). An authentic, talking Slink would be awesome, but I don't know, I just don't feel like they're going to do him or Hamm, but maybe. I am quite satisfied with my Hamm, though it would be nice to be able to press a button and hear Ratzenberger's voice, and have him interact with the others. But if they tried to make him able to move, he wouldn't look authentic anymore... I'm kinda okay with my Slinky Dog too, but I would still get a new one if he was an upgrade (better ears, no string in the forehead I have to cut and fix up). And I don't ever expect a more authentic Ken and Barbie, unfortunately, and the original Barbie's problem is she doesn't have bangs (I suppose one could cut her hair and style it right).

So does anyone know why they put Jessie's speaker in her head? I mean it seems kinda silly since when she has her hat on her voice (obviously) doesn't come through as clear as when the hat is off lol.

Its probably no more obstructed than woody's speaker being under his clothes, no? only toys like Buzz can have the speaker completely unobstructed. as for why they did it, my guess is she was already too thick in the waist as it is, they didn't want to make her any more fatter than she already is. plus it seems like a good idea, to have the voice come from a place close than her mouth.

I get more and more disappointed with this collection every time I look at them. They make a big deal about these being the authentic replicas of the characters in the film, but almost every one so far is off model. Woody's mouth, Mr. Potato Head's pieces, Jessie's hair... I would really love to have some of them, but I'm not spending $50+ on them until they are the ACTUAL film versions of the toys.

Not to mention how poorly some of them are put together. I've seen some Lotso's and Jessie that are HORRIBLE looking, how they passed quality control is a mystery to me.

I agree how they are all off model one way or another, but they are soooo much better than my old collection that I'm very happy with most of these. Most of the issues don't bother me much anyway, but a few do, like Potato Head's legs. I have definitely seen quality control issues, but nothing that surprises me as a regular toy buyer/collector. It's just one more reason I always try to buy in stores rather than order, though that's sometimes impossible. I also will be surprised if we ever see any of these come out MORE accurate, unless they start rereleasing characters in new, improved versions. That would surprise me though. Most of my Toy Story Collection toys I'm pretty happy with. The first change I would request is would be Potato Head's legs, and then the Toy Story logo (and size) on the Bucket of soldiers. They could have put the logo on a clear plastic ring around the bucket.

At first I wasn't fine with his legs, but watching Toy Story 1 and 2 again, I NEVER noticed that the animators gave him a bit of leg! But I think you guys are annoyed with how long they made his legs for the toy.

Has anyone bought the non-talking Rex? I am contemplating whether or not he is worth $30.

its not just about how long they are, but how thick they are too. his legs are only shown in the movie when he's walking or leaning. for just plain stainding you can barely see them or their hidden completely.

I still need to shorten mine, but Im still hesitant since I want to make them removeable and have the electronics work. (which is possible, I just want to make sure my measurments are correct) for now his potato just rests on his shoes and looks good.

I have yet to see Bullseye anywhere, and I still have yet to buy Lotso (he's growing on me, and I could always make him a good guy haha).

I did however buy Thinkway's Chunk (last week), and Sparks and Twitch (today) and they're all really cool. Sparks is definitely the weakest of the three in terms of movie-accuracy. His chest does light up when you push his head down and his arms do extend, but his body doesn't extend (like when Buzz shook is hand in the movie when they first meet) and his chest doesn't spark when he rolls.

The other two are great though. Twitch has a cool feature where when you press his head down his mandibles open and close and you can push a button on his belly to make his wings pop out (reminds me of Buzz  ). Chunk has a button on the top his head/body(? lol) that when you press it he switches faces, just like in the movie.

*EDIT* Nevermind, Sparks does light up when you roll him too.... he just has to be on a hard surface >.>

Really wish I knew about the sale while I was there today. I bought Bullseye, and couldnt afford jessie. I didnt see a sign about it, but then again I almost missed the Bullseye in plain sight so it wouldn't suprise me if there was one about it.

I may go back and buy a another one with Jessie, then take that one back to take advantage of the sale.

anyway, the Toys R Us I went to had about 5 of both Bullseye and Jessie's.
Out of the 5 Jessie's I think I saw 2 i could tolerate.

Also saw twitch and chunk for the first time.

I bought Woody a pack of smaller rings at Michaels to make him more accurate.
Tried to find Woody a new stand there too but had no luck.

Heres the new smaller ring.

Bullseye.

Didn't anticipate how hard it would be to balance him on the saddle, took forever, and even then I didn't feel comfortable leaving him up there. He was falling over as I was taking pics. and Bullseye has a tendency to lean left.

For anyone keeping score, here's my whole collection as it stands right now.

Edit: was able to use the Bullseye receipt, rebuy and got Jessie half off.

Wow, great deal Kyle! Love your pictures as always. I'm a little surprised that Woody is so difficult to get on Bullseye, you would think that's something a lot of people would do!!

I'm frustrated trying to find Bullseye. I've checked 4 different Toys R'Us stores (and none of them are close, which makes it even more difficult) and NONE have it. I even had a friend who was in New York on business check the Times Square Toys R'Us (which is like, 5 stories tall) and they didn't have it either! I did manage to find the Woody's Roundup guitar, which I grabbed and makes a FANTASTIC prop next to Woody and gang (it's staying in the package)! But still, Bullseye is the one I wanted the most and it's frustrating not being able to get one, because it seems like he's available everywhere from what I can tell?

I hope Wave 3 (if there is one) comes out soon. I need Stinky Pete to complete the Woody's Roundup gang!! Oh, and someone here was asking about the Woody's Roundup CD -- it's up on Itunes if that helps. That's where I got mine. :D

I found Bullseye today and bought him! He seems REALLY big though...

Oh, and could anyone help me out with Woody's stand. Why is it they made that one point of the star able to fold up and down?
