I was at Toys R Us today, hoping to find TSC Jessie, they didn't have her but they DID have Buzz with utility belt which I picked up.

I also bought the Barbie and Ken set for my mom for Mother's Day tomorrow.

(I'm debating on getting one for myself too at some point >_>)

How did the Barbie and Ken set look? On the images I've seen, it seems their faces are more modern than the ones in the film, which look more 80's style. I was afraid that would happen. I've never seen the 2-pack in person though, but I've been thinking about getting it for myself. We still might even have that style of Ken around from my older sister's toys, so I maybe could just take the clothes off the new one and put it on that one, ha, if the old one looks so much more like him. Anyway, I did go to my Toys R Us today, and one of our Targets and Wal-Marts too, but didn't find anything collector-worthy at the Targets and Wal-Marts, and at Toys R Us, they only had the lone Barbies, no 2-packs. They had the workout one and also Barbie loves Woody, Barbie Loves Buzz, etc... I do kinda wanna get that 2-pack for my collection though, even more than a Lotso at this point (we'll see what happens with him after seeing the movie or actually finding the toy). Especially since I never got that old Tour Guide Barbie...

I didn't actually get a chance to give a good look at their faces before we wrapped up the presents >_> haha I'll get a good look tomorrow most likely.

So I've noticed a difference between the original TSC Buzz and the Utility Belt TSC Buzz besides having the Utility Belt; the communicators are a bit different. On the original Buzz it seemed to be connected by what looked like a ribbon or something like that. Some kind of loose thing lol. The Utility Belt Buzz's communicator is connected on a regular hinge.

If I get a Utility Belt Buzz (probably waaay later down the line), I will probably keep it in the box. That way, I'll at least have one in the film-style box. Anyway, I noticed Bullseye is available on Amazon.com now, though marked "Out of Stock". I haven't checked yet, but maybe they're all up right now. I mean, Lotso, Jessie, and even Potato Head, who hasn't been available there yet...

ive seen the 'barbie loves' dolls, and was sorely tempted, despite the fact i loathe barbie and always have... more of a jem and sindy girl, and even then very rarely were they played with. i cant remember what their faces looked like, i was too excited over the clothes, lol.

i picked up the adult collection when i found them. im hoping they will make slinky in the next batch. hes my favourite! ive also got the buzz and woody hotwheels cars. am only going to buy them as i see them, to decide if i like them or not.

As much as I would have loved a TSC Slinky Dog, it would annoy me a little if they made him now, since I already weakened and bought the current one, ha. AND modified him (getting rid of that forehead string). Same with Hamm.

yeh, ive been looking at the slinkys online, but the string bugs me... it should be on his collar or something. i never noticed him having a string in the movies. might have to rewatch them and see.

i wonder if disney will release ts as 3d one day? i loved them on the big screen... even reached out to catch the snow at the end of the first one [so glad it was dark, lol]

Just a reminder for anyone looking for TSC Mr. Potato Head:

Make sure you check in the "pre-school" aisle by all of the regular Mr(s). Potato Heads because I've seen him there too.

And Jessie is on amazon.com too, but also listed as "Out of Stock" for $39.95.... a great price because you get free shipping and no tax. If I see Jessie available there before I see her in stores I *may* just order her from amazon.

There was never any string on him in the movies.

I'll probably be getting Tyler Hasslet's screen accurate Slinky Dog in a week or so. Cant wait to see it.

So, are there anymore Toy Story Collection toys coming out after Buzz w/ Utility Belt, Jessie, Bullseye, and Lotso or is that it?

Ideally I'd like Prospector (gotta finish the Roundup Gang!) and Zurg at some point.

Even if they weren't TSC, I'd take non-TSC toys of them as long as they were in scale (like the non-TSC Woody, Buzz, Jessie, etc.).

No more have been announced. However, when someone suggested a few in an email to Thinkway, Jenny Size (the person who always responds to emails to them) said something along the lines of "thanks for the suggestions, we will take this into consideration as we have not yet finalized wave 3".

So it would appear that Wave 3 has been semi confirmed.

Also, if you look at the item numbers, they all go in order, with the exception of lotso which jumps up a bit. meaning it would appear there are 4 numbers with no toy assigned to them yet. so it sounds like Lotso was moved up to release earlier than initially planned. and there should be 3 more on the way. one of those was probably the canceled Hamm. if they have re assigned that item number to another toy we could have 4 more in store for us in wave 3. Who will be in it is anyone's guess, but I would be surprised if Stinky Pete and Zurg weren't 2 of them.

I saw one with the string coming out of his chest at Target yesterday! It was in a Toy Story 3 designed box, rather than a TSC box.

No you didn't. you saw the box that had a render of the character model, that doesn't accurately reflect whats inside at all.

There is no new slinky dog, only the box has changed. its the same crappy one that's always been out.

I would highly expect another wave to have Mrs. Potato Head, which would be cool too. To the rest of us who are avidly collecting the Certificate of Authenticity toys: Which non-COA toys do you have or intend to buy for your collection? Anyone else seeking the Ken and Barbie two-pack? Breaking down and buying a Slinky? Plan to get an Etch-a-Sketch? Going for the Woody's Round-up Guitar? Still looking for the harmonica, myself. I've added the guitar, Hamm bank, and Slink to my collection, and I am thinking I will probably get Barbie and Ken and an Etch (though not rushing on the Etch). The current Etch looks small to me, but I guess I've just grown since I owned one as a kid (that I LOVED). I will wait on him till I have my new apartment. Gotta find a new job first. I still have my BK Lenny in my display, but I don't know if I'll keep him there since he's not size accurate (as I've been told, but haven't checked). Anyway, checked Toys R Us again today, but I was told they get new shipments on Wednesday. The guy sounded like he was expecting some Jessies on Wednesday, though I'm not really sure he knew.

Well, I bought a Slinky Dog not too long ago, mainly to replace the one I had from when I was a kid that broke

And I got the new Hamm bank from the Disney Store as well. It's in-scale, and it's an actual bank. It's perfect! Sure I'd like a TSC version of Hamm with John Ratzenberger's voice and everything, but this is perfect for now.

I still have my Burger King Lenny too lol. As for other characters, well first I wanna see what happens with the TSC line. I'd buy an in-scale Prospector and Zurg of course (as I've said many times  ) and, hell, I'd buy any character as long as they're in-scale. A real Bo Peep lamp would be cool too, I could see Disney Store carrying something like that (like the real-piggy-bank Hamm).

A TSC Mrs. Potato Head would make sense. They've already got the body and electronics designed, they'd just have to make some new pieces and put in a new voice. It seems like a fairly easy way for them to make money (like with Utility Belt Buzz lol). I've seen non-TSC Mrs. Potato Heads but they've got the nose all wrong! It's just a pink version of Mr. P's nose! >_<

Also, Kyle in this post:

What do you mean by the "numbers", do you mean, like, the UPC numbers?

Their Item numbers. not sure if that's the same as upc, but I would assume so.

Anyway, I hear they are making new non electronic potatoheads due out in the fall. We don't have much to go on, but given that the non collection potatoheads are already out, and with TS3 packaging, I think its safe to assume we're going to get cheaper alternatives to the TSC version of Mr and Mrs. Potatoehads.
They'll likely use the same sculpts, so expect more movie accurate potatoheads, with butt compartment in the fall.

I dunno, Im just relaying info from a post at pixar planet's forums.

I'll just copy/past his here so you'll know everything I know.
Hey guys! I've been following the Toy Story Collection line for a while now, and I noticed something interesting. The serial numbers for these toys all follow a certain order, which goes like this:

-64011: Buzz
-64012: Woody
-64013: RC
-64014: Mr. Potato Head
-64015: (Skipped over, see below)
-64016: Rex
-64017: Bucket o Soldiers
-64018: Aliens
-64019: Not 100% sure, but probably Utility Belt Buzz
-64020: Jessie
-64021: Bullseye
(Numbers 22-25 are not assigned to any collection toy yet, see below)
-64026: Lotso

Now by itself the list isn't that exciting, but taking certain facts into account it becomes a bit more interesting, mainly:

-Every TS Thinkway figure (sans MPH, probably due to the Hasbro license) has a basic figure and a collection version. Thus, it's highly possible that in Wave 3 we could be seeing Twitch, Sparks, Chunk, and another currently unknown character fitting in the unused slots (64022-64025).

-The huge gap between Lotso and the other characters suggests that Lotso was originally going to be part of wave 3, but was moved to 2 in a last-minute manner, probably to help promote Toy Story 3.

-A Collection Hamm was originally planned for this line (the toy itself can be
seen in the 2009 expo pic), but was canceled due to lack of retailer interest. Thinking logically, we can determine that it was considered long enough to get its own number, 64015.

Pretty cool, huh? Smile
